For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $80,640 - $100,800 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.

The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The ASCO PCS Mod's Order Manager (herein referred to as POM ) manages the end to end "Customer" experience as it relates to ASCO PCS Mod projects to ensure on-time completion and the highest level of satisfaction. (the term "Customer" referring to our internal ASCO Service Sales & Execution teams, as this is not an end-customer facing position)

This position will act as the primary point of contact for our "Customers" and is responsible for initiating, planning, executing, controlling and ultimately closing "Customer" interactions throughout the projects. The POM is further responsible for working directly with the North Haven, CT Mod's factory and/or outside vendors to facilitate any expediting, changes to BOM's, drawings, and seeking alternative ways to secure necessary items on a per-order basis to satisfy any specific delivery requirements. The POM will also be responsible for maintaining a database of all open projects that our "Customer's" can access via Tableau real-time to see the current status of any open project.

The POM will work closely with all PCS MOD's End to End teams to ensure that orders are processed accurately,

What will you do?

To perform this job successfully, you must be able to satisfactorily perform each of these duties:

  • Acts as a champion on the MOD's team, providing guidance and teaching other team members skills within our business systems and our processes and procedures so they may become more efficient and ultimately help ensure accurate end to end mod project execution.
  • Leader in backlog management; may be responsible to lead backlog meetings. Leverages strong organizational and project management skills to manage backlog efficiently.
  • Proactively look for opportunities to improve processes and escalate issues that need to be reviewed; make suggestions for improvements in a positive, solution-oriented approach.
  • Work within the ASCO business systems (JDEdwards, Clearview) and the Schneider North Haven, CT business systems (Smartsheets, SMS and S4H) to assist with order entry, order management and invoicing responsibilities where/when necessary.
  • Actively monitor costs throughout the projects. Take initiative to question overages and schedule discussion meetings when warranted. Escalate issues to the ASCO MOD's Execution Leader, Service, Sales, Project Management and Engineering Managers for costs and/or work that does not appear to be valid or within the sold SOP or approved cost guidelines.
  • Elicit regular feedback from "Customers" with the goal of maintaining solid relationships . Develop and maintain a fundamental knowledge and understanding of ASCO products, processes and terminology to effectively communicate with "Customers" regarding these aspects of our business.
  • Receive, manage and review all order handoffs from the Inside Sales and Order Entry teams.
  • Assign project priorities and ensure job materials have been ordered, tracked and received. Ensure proper labor and resources are scheduled for each job.
  • Serve as the primary contact and liaison between our internal "Customers". Communicate schedule conflicts, delays, or changes with the appropriate service and sales staff.
  • Manage Clearview Service Orders from beginning to end of process including final order close out.
  • Be prepared and actively participate in weekly operational meetings to discuss:
    • project issues
    • status of backlog
    • forecasting
    • Work in Progress (WIP)

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or minimum 5 years applicable experience.
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.
  • Knowledge of basic accounting or financial principles and methods.
  • Ability to review and understand ASCO's quotes & BOM's.
  • Fluent in the ASCO Business systems (Clearview and JDEdwards) and ability to work within the Schneider systems (Smartsheets, S4H and SMS)
  • Some Project Management experience is preferred.
  • Professional experience in customer service.
