Application Design Engineer

Telecom Professional in Networking domain with detailed Engineering experience, also acting as technical interface to Customer for design approval and responsible to ensure that system design as per Functional requirements with through quality check in Engineering phase and executed within agreed schedule.

Execution Phase as Design Engineering

Key Responsibilities/Deliverables:

• Basic and Detailed engineering for Networking, IP/ MPLS for Power, Oil & Gas industry
• CCNA certification is must.
• Main Function is to choose the compliant products as per Project specifications, detailing on engineering deliverables such as making Overall BOM, Block Diagrams, Design Basis Memorandum/Functional Design Specifications, Link Budget Calculations, Power Consumption calculations, Interconnection Drawings, KLM planning/Bandwidth Calculations, Channel Plan allocation.
• Participate in technical discussions during Kick Off Meeting & project review meetings.
• Develop technical competency within team by sharing knowledge & guiding junior team members.

Skills Requirements: -

Technical knowledge of below domains: -

• Local Area Network (LAN) consists of network switches, Network Routers, voice and data gateways, Routers- CISCO/ALCATEL/Juniper/HUAWEI
• Wide Area network (WAN) and Wireless Area Network (WLAN)
• IP-MPLS/TP-MPLS network
• Structured Cabling System ADC KRONE/PANDUIT/MOLEX/NEXANS/BELDEN/R&M/AMP

IP Telephony - CISCO/ALCATEL/HUAWEI/AVAYA/SIEMENS

Education - B.E. Computers /Electronics and Telecommunications

RELEVANT SKILLS desired from candidate: -

Technical (Hardware/Software):

• LAN/WAN
• MPLS
• VoIP / Collaboration
• Wireless Communication
• Wireless Coverage through software
• Structured Cabling

Preferred Certifications (in addition to CCNA):

• CCNP - Security
• CompTIA Security+
• NSE 1/2/3

Experience- 10 yrs. / 5 yrs. at least in Networking domain.

Special Note: - Candidates preferred form networking or computer hardware profiles.

Candidates can be hired from Tejas Networks, Comtel Networks, Neural networks,

Unicom Infotel, WCS India.
