Role and Responsibilities

THE POSITION

We're looking for a skilled Senior Web Developer who is interested in building and extending our eCommerce platform. As a Senior Web Developer, you will work with the product team, data analysis team, and other internal and external teams. You will help design and architect solutions to problems and lead the development effort using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript frameworks.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Work closely with talented engineers and product visionaries to build solid web apps using the hottest technologies around including React and NodeJS.
  • Design and develop HTML5/JS apps offering the best customer experience.
  • Develop Single Page applications using Object-Oriented JavaScript, various JavaScript libraries, micro frameworks (JQuery, AngularJS, ReactJS, Prototype, BackboneJS), CSS frameworks, responsive design and modular architecture.

Build (code) and unit test app functionality per technical specifications, with deliverables to include code builds and documented unit test results

Skills and Qualifications

Background & Competencies Required:

  • Bachelors / Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field in a reputable institution
  • Minimum 9 years professional experience in software development
  • Minimum 4 years of HTML5 web app experience
  • Experience with a modern client-side JavaScript framework (AngularJS, ReactJS, Prototype, BackboneJS, Bootstrap, or similar)
  • Mastery of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript - ES2015 and beyond!
