Role and Responsibilities
This role is responsible for campaign management, with focus on Social Media and digital channels. The Brand Social Media Channels are key to communicating with the consumer WHERE THEY ARE. This role is key for cultural communication for the brand. As Samsung has multiple products and lines of business, there is a lot of collaboration and calendar management involved for smooth and efficient planning. This person will be very organized and collaborative.
The role will be responsible for leading strategy for both Social-First Campaigns, and Integrated Campaigns as part of larger, Brand-Level marketing priorities.
The role will work directly with the Integrated Marketing Team, while navigating Stakeholder management and Agencies relations to achieve Social Media goals + objectives. This person should have deep knowledge of the social platforms and their best practices.
This person will manage reporting for shared Channels across multiple lines of business and priority social platforms. They'll drive measurement including reporting frameworks, status reports and tracking of KPIs against benchmarks.
As both creative development and campaign reporting are in house, this person should be able to craft social content and develop reporting using analytics tools.

Key Responsibilities
- Drives day to day social media activations and integrated campaigns
- Work includes ownership of campaign planning, creative development, creative execution, stakeholder approvals, and reporting.
- Fosters cross line of business relationships including Mobile (IM), Home Appliance (HA) and Consumer Electronics (HE), Display, Retail, etc. to achieve Social Media goals and objectives
- Management of cross-category content planning for Key Drive Periods, Cultural Moments, and always-on content
- Driving planning and strategy for approval by key stakeholders; business leads and leadership
- Ensures agency partners are on-track and aligned with key priorities and initiatives, as defined by leadership
- Leads Social Media POV in cross-functional marketing teams
- Delivers creative tactical response for integrated marketing briefs in relation to social
- Owns communication with Social Media Platforms on behalf of the Brand. Tracks and understands innovation and best practices per platform
- Leads Brand response and stakeholder alignment for moments of crisis; how and if the Brand responds. Ensures clear POV is provided for working level alignment across business leads, and leadership
- Manages legal reviews for key contracts. This work includes tracking of changes and working with Risk on any new scope for agencies, talent or partners
- Continues collaboration with internal teams by owning brief development for Social activations to support priority initiatives (e.g. Key Drive Periods, Cultural Moments, etc.).
- Manages budget and approval process for activity including agency support
Skills and Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree [Business or Marketing] with 6+ years of relevant experience
- 7+ years of solid experience in social media marketing
Preferred Skills:
- Proven track record of delivering results on social campaigns
- Solid knowledge in social media platforms and associated best practices
- Experience in driving social media reporting
- Strategic content visioning and development through a digital lens
- Understanding of social media focused on Gen Z audience
- Refined project management and organizational skills with an ability to translate broad business requirements into actionable project plans
- A natural sense of culture, community and consumer passions
- Understanding of key cross-functional marketing fundamentals including media, experiential, digital, social, PR, product/brand management and channel marketing
- Proven relationship-building skills with developing and maintaining excellent working relationships with all appropriate levels within teams, business units and large organizations, both inside and outside the company
- Ability to work independently, quickly, and thoroughly to prioritize and complete tasks under multiple deadlines while guiding others to do the same
- Strategic content visioning through a digital lens
- Strategic management of Social Platform innovation + partner based programs

CALIFORNIA ONLY
The salary ranges for this role, for candidates based in CA, is expected to be between $135,000 and $148,500. Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.
