About the role:

We’re looking for a Senior Manager of Brand Communications to join our team. This person will primarily own our customer and data communications programs and so should be adept at finding the nexus between narratives that move strategic business objectives forward and stories that resonate externally with media. Cross-functional collaboration, creativity, trend-spotting, vivid writing ability, and media relations are all skills you should spike in (and enjoy!).

For customer storytelling, you will work closely with Customer Marketing to showcase customer success stories that build awareness and drive further adoption of Samsara. You'll have ownership to think strategically and creatively to develop high-impact programs with customers at the heart.

For data storytelling, you will lead a cross-functional team spanning Data Science, Content Marketing, Design, and Communications in building a robust data program that ties Samsara to relevant trends and showcases the power of our platform. You will also work closely with the Content Marketing team on our annual State of Connected Operations report, leading the communications strategy behind it.

Samsara’s strength is directly linked to the impact our customers get from our data platform. This role is at the center of telling that story. If you’re a creative storyteller at heart, we’d love to hear from you!

  • You are the architect of your own career: If you put in the work, this role won’t be your last at Samsara. We set up our employees for success and have built a culture that encourages rapid career development, countless opportunities to experiment and master your craft in a hyper growth environment.
  • You’re energized by our opportunity: The vision we have to digitize large sectors of the global economy requires your full focus and best efforts to bring forth creative, ambitious ideas for our customers.
  • You want to be with the best: At Samsara, we win together, celebrate together and support each other. You will be surrounded by a high-caliber team that will encourage you to do your best.
