As the Vice President of Solutions Engineering, you'll lead a high-performing team of Sales Engineers and Architects across the region. You'll be instrumental in helping organizations, unlock the power of Salesforce, and build a data-driven culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a high-performing team of Directors, Solution Engineers and Architects to foster a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Collaborate closely with cross functional teams to define and execute the sales strategy, driving revenue growth and market expansion.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with Account Executives, product teams, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless alignment between technical solutions and customer needs.
- Oversee the end-to-end sales cycle, from presales activities such as discovery and requirements analysis to solution design and presentation.
- Leverage your profound technical expertise in modern cloud data platforms and data analytics tools to craft tailored and innovative solutions for clients.
- Drive collaboration with Product Marketing to shape messaging, sales plays, and go-to-market strategies based on customer insights and market trends.
- Champion the capture of customer feedback to influence product roadmap decisions and optimize revenue generation.
- Represent Salesforce at key industry events and conferences, enhancing our thought leadership and market visibility.
Who you are:
- 10+ years of experience in technical pre-sales or sales engineering, with a proven track record of success in highly technical sales.
- Expertise in CRM, CDP, modern cloud data platforms and data analytics tools, acquired through years of technology sales experience.
- Exceptional leadership skills with a history of effectively leading and developing high-performing teams.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to translate complex technical information into customer-centric solutions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, honed through years of experience in technical sales.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field, complemented by your extensive technology sales background.

For New York-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $278,320 to $372,330.
For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $278,320 to $372,330.

For Illinois based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $278,320 to $372,330.
For Massachusetts based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $278,320 to $372,330.
