Help us build the next chapter of the Tableau partner ecosystem, bringing the power of Tableau Partners to our SMB, Commercial and Enterprise market segments, changing how thousands of customers see and understand their data.
This role will be a critical part in bringing Tableau to thousands of data users, whether novice or experienced, so they can make better decisions, grow faster, and transform their business.

Reporting directly to the RVP of Alliances, the applicant will work with an amazing team to plan, build, and run partner sales programs unique to the market. Prime applicants are well organized, innovative advisors with a passion to help drive bottom line results and operational excellence.

Responsibilities
• Orchestrate partners to develop, run, and improve demand generation plays at scale.
• Onboard and identify SI partners that help to build, mature, and close joint pipeline.
• Build incremental revenue across OUs by launching and managing reseller partners to renew, grow, and upsell contract bases.
• Engage with two-tier distribution partners to enable and co-sell with their partner networks.
• Conducting regular pipeline meetings and forecast reviews with partner sales teams.
• Establish solid relationships with sales leaders and managers to monitor and grow their partner share of business.
• Manage internal & external sales programs to assist in driving growth results.
• Work with Marketing, Enablement, and Sales teams to create cross functional initiatives that include partners.
• Collaborate with internal operations teams to ID friction in processes and propose improvements.

Requirements
• 5+ years of direct sales + channel sales experience in the technology or software sector, preferably with high velocity, widely distributed sales.
• Breadth of experience managing partnerships with large VAR companies (SHI, Insight, CDW), smaller regional or niche resellers, and systems integration partners (non-reseller).
• Strong operations mindset, with a proven capacity to plan, build, and run sales programs.
Preferred experience
• Experience being a quota carrying employee, planning for and meeting revenue goals.
• Experience with two tier distribution networks, leveraging their partnership to grow, enable, and incentivize reseller partners.
• Experience managing partner development, including certifications, partner marketing funds, and enablement.
• Experience working in a large complex matrixed organizational working in cross functional team capacity
• Proficient with using Tableau to analyze data and uncover insights.
• Adept with using Salesforce Sales Cloud to manage opportunities, accounts, contacts, and sales stages.

For New York-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $134,260 to $179,550.

For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $134,260 to $179,260.

For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $134,260 to $179,550.

Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
