Role Description
Salesforce has immediate opportunities for very talented software developers who want their lines of code to have a significant and measurable positive impact! You will deliver code that is used by thousands of end users, delivering millions of predictions at scale. Our software engineers ship applications written in the enterprise Java stack on the Core platform and on our AI/Machine learning platform. We work in a highly collaborative environment, and you will liaise with a highly cross functional team composed of Data Scientists, Software Engineers, Machine learning engineers, UX experts, Product Managers to build Agentforce Platform. We value execution, clear communication, feedback and making learning fun.

Your Impact:
As a Full-Stack (Front-end specialized), Software Engineering, your job responsibilities will include:
- Build new AI Applications and Platform using the newly developed Salesforce ML applications and tools
- Develop high-quality, production-ready code that millions of users of our cloud platform can use.
- Work in a Hybrid Engineering model and contribute to all phases of SDLC including design, implementation, code reviews, automation, and testing of the features.
- Use and contribute to open source technology (Lightning Web Components, etc.
- Resolve complex technical issues and drive innovation.
- Build AI Platform sub-system integrating with RAG Actions, LLM Gateway, Data Cloud, Prompt Builder etc
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of Front-end software development & design experience; working on large scale projects with multiple teams.
- Deep understanding of JavaScript, and Web Application Frameworks , such as Lightning Web Components, React, Vue, Redux. We work in LWC + Redux, but any modern front-end stack is a good match.
- Preferred Skills:
- Automate, optimize, and drive efficiency of effort, code, and process.
- Design, implement, and maintain the infrastructure on which the Salesforce service runs.
- Resolve complex technical issues and drive innovations that improve system availability, resilience, and performance.
- Create, maintain, and share technical documentation used by engineers and other team members.
- Provide mentorship to junior team members and partner with other SMEs across the organization
- Practical knowledge of Java and Spring framework. Our application team is full-stack, and the middle tier is built in Java.
- Knowledge of public cloud (AWS, GCP, and/or Azure).
- Strong adherence to quality-driven development practices, and experience with unit- and functional testing technologies.
- Experience with CI/CD environments and tooling.
- Experience working in a tight collaboration with UX Design organization.
- Good understanding of Accessibility
- Good understanding of web application security and authentication protocols.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with outstanding attention to details.
