Salesforce Inc. seeks Software Engineering SMTS in San Francisco, CA:

Job Duties: Responsible for designing and developing configurable products used globally. Leveraging salesforce.com development experience to architect and design products to be used globally by clients of Salesforce.com. Develop salesforce.com apps required for pre-commercial and commercial business process of life sciences clients Salesforce.com. Review code developed by other developers in the team and provide technical coaching where necessary. Creating sections of presentations for high level design of product features, under general guidance from experienced team leaders. Communicating findings and recommendations. Work with the scrum master and dev lead to understand the user stories which need to be completed in the current sprint. Work with the dev lead to create a detailed technical design with apex or aura controllers to use, apex or aura classes to create, salesforce.com APIs to be called, configurations to be queried and data to be synchronized for all user stories to be completed in the current sprint (2 weeks). Have design meetings to discuss the technical design created and give constructive feedback on other people's designs. Develop code in Force.com IDE or Visual studio code and Apex or aura or Lightning Web components to finish the user stories. Work with the dev lead to get the code reviews done and fix issues found in the code reviews. Work with the testers to get the code tested so that it can be demo'ed to the stakeholders. Work with the scrum masters to refine and estimate user stories for the upcoming sprints. Work with release management to ensure the 3 yearly product releases happen on time and on budget. Work with a geographically distributed team to analyze, diagnose and fix customer issues. Work with junior members on the team to mentor them on salesforce.com app development. Participate in bi-weekly retrospectives to improve every 2 weeks. Give a knowledge transfer to geographically distributed team so that once a feature goes in GA anyone can support it. Attend all SCRUM ceremonies in person and participate to give a perspective in mobile offline development. ˆHQ address additionally encompasses the following Salesforce locations in San Francisco: 350 Mission Street, 415 Mission Street, and 50 Fremont Street. The permanent position may be offered at any of these locations in San Francisco. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.

Minimum Requirements: Master's degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Applied Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in related field.

A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Applied Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (any field)).

Special Skill Requirements: (1) lightning applications, (2) Visualforce Pages, (3) Apex classes, (4) Triggers, (5) Batch, (6) REST API Controllers, (7) Users, (8) Security Controls, (9) Data Management, (10) Jitterbit; (11) healthcare and life science industry (two years); (12) agile development (two years). Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.

Salary: $155,605.00 - $236,500.00 per annum.

For Washington D.C based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $155,605 to $236,500.

For Maryland based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $155,605 to $236,500.

For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $155,605 to $236,500.

For Hawaii-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $155,605 to $236,500.

For Illinois based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $155,605 to $236,500.
