Salesforce Inc. seeks Software Engineering SMTS in Seattle, WA:
Job Duties: Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Update software or enhance existing software capabilities. Participates in high-level design and architectural discussions, providing feedback to align design decisions with overall system goals. Resolve complex customer reported technical issues and drive innovation that improves the product. Collaborates with Quality Engineering, Product Management, Technical Operations and Design to align on project requirements and resolve technical challenges. Collaborates with project managers to scope, estimate, and plan tasks for upcoming sprints and projects, aligning with strategic goals. Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior team members. Take full ownership of the end-to-end quality of the code deployed to production. Identifies performance bottlenecks, analyzes system efficiency, and implements improvements for scaling and optimized performance. Provides after-hours on-call support for urgent issues, ensuring system stability and rapid response to critical failures or customer-facing issues. *Above address additionally encompasses the following Salesforce locations in the Seattle area: 744 N. 34th St. Seattle, WA 98103, 701 N. 34th St., Seattle, WA 98103, and 929 108th Ave, Bellevue, WA 98004. The permanent position may be offered at any of these locations in the Seattle area. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Machine Intelligence, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in related field.
A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Machine Intelligence, Engineering (any field)).
Special Skill Requirements: (1) Java (2) Javascript (3) C/C++ (3) AWS S3 (4) AWS DynamoDB (5) AWS Lambda (6) AWS Cloudwatch (7) AWS Quicksight (8) RDBMS/OODBMS (9) Object Oriented Programming. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required. Special Skills can be gained through academic coursework, scholastic achievement, or professional experience.
Salary: $143,300.00 - $216,700.00 per annum.
