The Technology Program Management (TPM) team works across our Cloud Business Units to drive programs that deliver innovative, enterprise solutions for our customers. We play a meaningful role at Salesforce in leading large-scale, cross-functional initiatives within our Technology & Products organizations. TPMs lead all aspects of programs through from beginning to end, ensuring a better workflow and more effective communication. They work closely with executives and key company leaders to drive critical programs and activities across the company.

The Senior TPM in Revenue Cloud will drive cross-functional and technical efforts in support of the Revenue Cloud's product roadmap. This person will engage with leaders at all levels on a regular basis to ensure the timely completion of program outcomes and mitigation of risks. In addition to driving the delivery of our product roadmap, this role will drive and contribute to various programs across Revenue Cloud. The Sr. TPM will help plan, structure, and implement the vision for their programs, drive executive alignment, and keep all abreast on progress. Planning projects, defining outcomes, assessing risks, crafting actionable insights, establishing processes, and working with multiple teams to ensure dependencies are known and the projects meet goals on time is all in a day's work.

This is an individual contributor role.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the Revenue Cloud operating model; help evolve and adapt it to champion consistency and net greater efficiencies at scale.
  • Structure and lead programs by maintaining cross-functional team alignment on vision, business goals, scope and release plans.
  • Drive program core meetings with key leaders for each program to help make material decisions, remove obstacles, and address critical program issues. Be the driving force ensuring business goals and the strategic vision of each program are met.
  • Develop positive relationships and be a trusted partner for executive management and team leaders to ensure program success, establishing credibility and rapport at every level.
  • Partner with cross-functional teammates (i.e., Product Owners, Scrum Masters, DevOps, Release Eng, Capacity, Functional Managers, Release Management) to drive workgroup alignment meetings, and address tactical release issues, dependencies, team status, production issues, metrics review, objectives, etc.
  • Provide insight to program status (i.e., issues, risks, metrics, etc.) on an ongoing basis through push status reporting to all leaders and interested parties.
  • Handle "program/feature" dependencies across various teams, functions, and divisions.
  • Promptly anticipate and remove obstacles that slow down or prevent project teams from delivering on project goals.
  • Provide weekly program reviews to the executive team and shepherd release demos and reviews. Delve into current state of project goals, risks, blocking issues and path to resolution.
  • Build a concerted environment that cultivates creativity, innovation, and learning. Be willing to have a beginner's mind.
  • Be a driving force within the organization, someone who can help advance our Product & Technology strategy globally and drive others in the organization to change.
  • Excel in an environment where ownership, accountability, delivery & innovation are intrinsic.

Minimum Requirements

  • At least 7+ years of recent software/technical program or engineering management professional experience at an enterprise technology company.
  • 5+ years of cross-functional team management experience in a SaaS company with a firm knowledge of its product development lifecycle.
  • Excellent project management, analytical and problem solving skills with a history of hands-on, detail orientation.
  • Deep experience with the software development lifecycle; ability to adjust and apply this knowledge in a multifaceted environment using agile methodologies.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and relationship building skills conducive to driving consensus; able to work well in a cross-functional, matrix management environment.
  • Ability to wear multiple hats and delve into details of technical subjects relevant to the program, while prioritizing without loss of efficiency.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, related fields or equivalent work experience in technical leadership roles.
  • Humor and tenacity under duress.

Preferred Requirements

  • Innately customer oriented and possess a service oriented mentality.
  • Experience working with go-to-market, product launch teams and portfolio management.
  • Proficient in using Spreadsheets in process automation a huge plus (e.g., Google Sheets)!

For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $172,200 to $236,900.

Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
