JOB TITLE: Senior Technical Consultant - SFI / Telecommunications

We rely on our team's expertise and specialization to engage with executive-level customers to agree on specific business goals and actions to ignite the full value of Salesforce. OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE
Salesforce is currently seeking a Senior Technical Consultants to join our Professional Services team within the Customer Success Group (CSG). The Senior Technical Consultants serves as a Salesforce product and platform expert to the company's largest, most complex enterprise customers.
The ideal Senior Technical Consultant is a demonstrated thought leader in technical aspects of customer and partner engagements that lead to the successful delivery of enterprise desktop, cloud, and/or mobile solutions, including enterprise integrations leveraging middleware tools and platforms. Sr/Consultants deliver technical solutions to meet the customer's business and technical requirements. Sr/Consultants lead the evaluation of options and subsequent presentation and education of the customer/partner. They will also identify and proactively manage risk areas, and commit to seeing issues through to complete resolution
Your Impact
- Participate in the full application life cycle - design, development, testing, and deployment
- Interact with customers, project teams, and other stakeholders to ensure customer success
- Design, develop and integrate Salesforce apps and components with back-office systems using modern web tools and technologies
- Develop proofs of concept as needed during the design and requirements phase to evaluate products and integration strategies
- Validate application code using unit tests, security tests, and profiling tools
- Assist in identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving defects encountered during various stages of project delivery, including during the deployment and implementation of the solution in production environments
- Experts in Apex, LWC and CI/CD and familiar with Omnistudio tools like Omniscript, Integration procedures and Data Raptors
- Produce project documentation, including functional and technical designs, and end-user guides
- Travel is infrequent, varying with consultant preference and client requirements
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of experience in design and implementation using Salesforce.com tec
- Skill and passion for programming and technology
- Skilled in Omnistudio, Apex and LWC
- Deep understanding of Industry specific concepts such as Product Catalogs, CPQ, Order Management and/or Contract Lifecycle Management
- Prior experience in Telecommunications; Energy and Media Industries
- Understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts
- Familiar with Java, C#, or comparable OOP language
- Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Experience with modern IDEs (VSCode, IntelliJ) and SCM tools (Git, SVN)
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Skilled in project documentation with regard to technical designs
- Ability and desire to learn new technologies and development tools
- A creative mindset to apply innovative approaches to software design
- Desire to work in a highly collaborative environment with a large team of like-minded developers
- Understanding of relational databases, data modelling, and SQL
- Understanding of Agile, Scrum, or other iterative development methodologies
- Experience with the Salesforce and Industries Platform shown by projects and certifications.
- Ensure seamless Integration between existing and new applications
- Ability to analyze, design, and optimize business processes via technology and integration.
- Work independently and as part of a distributed team and a willingness to take ownership of problems.
- Rapidly learn new technologies as well as strong presentation, communication and facilitation skills.
- Available to travel regionally and occasionally internationally depending on customer needs.
- Proficiency in English AND German languages.
- Degree or equivalent relevant experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on the core competencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to build and be a great partner both internally and externally.
- Experience working in a consulting role working with matrix teams.
- Ability to build and maintain key relationships with mid level and key decision makers.
- Experience in participating in discovery sessions, understanding business requirements, implementing user stories and leading customers demo's.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and frameworks (such as SAFE) and design background.
- Ability to learn new technologies as well as good presentation, communication and facilitation skills.
- Resourceful and ambitious thinker who can work through and tackle problems.
