Department Overview: Professional Services - Industries | HLS ANZ
Salesforce Professional Services delivers transformational engagements by combining deep industry knowledge with technical expertise. Our Health & Life Sciences (HLS) team in ANZ focuses on driving value for providers across public health, aged care, mental health, and community services. Our work transforms care experiences, strengthens clinical safety, and enables better access and equity.
Salesforce Industries (SFI) equips our teams with industry-specific data models, prebuilt processes, and digital experiences tailored to sectors like Public Sector, Health Cloud, Aged Care, Education, and Human Services.
Role Description
We are seeking a Senior Program Architect with deep healthcare domain expertise to join our team in ANZ. This is a strategic role delivering high-impact digital transformation initiatives for our largest customers.
You will serve as a technical and strategic advisor, helping healthcare providers translate business and clinical requirements into robust architecture and delivery roadmaps. While Salesforce product experience is valued, this role primarily requires proven experience delivering software solutions in the healthcare sector - including EMRs, CRM platforms, patient portals, aged care, or community care systems.
Salesforce Health Cloud or Salesforce certifications are a plus, but not a prerequisite. What matters most is your ability to lead with domain credibility, think strategically, and orchestrate delivery excellence across complex programs.
Your Impact
- Serve as the lead architect for complex healthcare transformation initiatives, overseeing design, integration, security, and delivery governance.
- Engage directly with executive stakeholders including CIOs, CMOs, and digital health leads to define digital health roadmaps.
- Translate clinical workflows and regulatory requirements into scalable solution architectures across cloud platforms.
- Guide delivery teams (Salesforce, Partners, Customer) through technical strategy, solution validation, and program execution.
- Ensure alignment to compliance, privacy, and interoperability standards (e.g. FHIR, HL7, ISO27001, My Health Record).
- Actively contribute to the internal growth of the Health Practice through knowledge sharing, mentoring, and asset development.
- When needed, support pre-sales efforts and solutioning for healthcare bids and proposals.
Basic Requirements
- Proven experience delivering enterprise or cloud-based solutions in healthcare environments such as hospitals, aged care, mental health, or NDIS providers.
- Experience leading multi-stakeholder, multi-system transformation projects across clinical, operational, and technical domains.
- Strong understanding of clinical and care delivery workflows, including intake, care coordination, discharge planning, or aged care funding models.
- Solid grasp of enterprise architecture principles: integrations, security, interoperability, data models, and change management.
- Strong consulting presence: able to confidently engage C-level and frontline leaders in shaping strategy and delivery.
- Ability and willingness to travel across ANZ based on customer needs.
Preferred Requirements
- Familiarity with the Salesforce platform (e.g. Health Cloud, Service Cloud, OmniStudio, MuleSoft, Data Cloud).
- Salesforce certifications (e.g. Application Architect, System Architect, Health Cloud Accredited Professional).
- Experience in delivering industry-specific cloud platforms, ideally in CRM, HIE, EMR, PAS, or population health platforms.
- Exposure to Salesforce Industries (SFI) and Public Sector Solutions is highly desirable.
- Certifications in TOGAF, Scaled Agile, or related architecture and delivery frameworks.
- Knowledge of data standards and regulatory compliance in ANZ healthcare, including Medicare, Support at Home, NDIS, and My Health Record.
