We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to work on Tableau Cloud and Tableau Server, focusing on user, identity, and access management. This role involves shaping Tableau's strategy to ensure admin users can effectively manage and secure their Tableau deployment. You will collaborate closely with engineering, customers, and partners to bring new capabilities to market, address real-world use cases, and drive product adoption. This is an exciting opportunity to have a significant impact on Tableau's success

Responsibilities:

  • Define, scope, and deliver products and features that enhance the admin user experience.
  • Evaluate product success through quantitative data analysis and customer feedback to drive adoption
  • Manage products throughout their life cycles using and expanding the feedback loop.
  • Participate in strategy development and market analysis.
  • Present product plans to senior executives and lead roadmap discussions.
  • Present Tableau product capabilities, vision, value propositions, and roadmap briefings to customers, prospects, the Tableau sales team, and at public events.
  • Collaborate with strategic customers and partners as a trusted advisor to ensure their success, handle critical issues, and conduct requirements analysis and product planning.
  • Work with product marketing on positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Identify growth opportunities in these products and analytics broadly.
  • Engage in conversations across Tableau about the evolution of our platform and the future of analytics, working cross-functionally with many disciplines within Tableau and Salesforce.

Essential Skills

  • 10+ years of experience in Product Management with a focus on identity and access management.
  • Extensive experience with SCIM, OAuth 2.0, SAML, and OIDC protocols.
  • Strong understanding of BI technologies and concepts, with the ability to work with data.
  • Passion for building software, understanding customer needs, and bringing products to market.
  • Curiosity and enthusiasm for new ideas and ways of working.
  • Ability to engage in technical engineering conversations and contribute to long-term product strategy and market analysis.
  • Leadership skills to inspire trust and drive change positively and productively.
  • Customer and user-focused mindset with the ability to understand and address admin user needs.
  • Strong communication skills to convey a vision of the future and engage diverse audiences.
  • Self-motivation and commitment to driving projects from start to finish.
