Join the team at the heart of MuleSoft's Anypoint Platform and take ownership of the mission-critical runtime and application management services that power the world's leading enterprises. We are looking for a strategic, technically-astute Product Manager to drive the vision and execution for our modern deployment and management experiences - both cloud and on-premises environments. In this role, you will solve complex technical challenges, shape the future of our platform architecture, and have a direct, measurable impact on our customers' success and our business growth. If you are passionate about building resilient, scalable platform services, this is the opportunity to be a Trailblazer at a massive scale.
Responsibilities
As a Product Manager for Runtime & Application Services, you will be the central driver for some of our most strategic platform initiatives. In this role you will:
- Own the Vision: Define and drive the multi-year product strategy and roadmap for the core runtime services that form the backbone of the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
- Lead Platform Modernization: Spearhead the architectural evolution of our platform, guiding the transition from legacy systems to a unified, modern control plane that enhances reliability, security, and unlocks future innovation.
- Drive Business Outcomes: Define and execute product strategies for platform metering, usage tracking, and monetization, partnering with business operations and GTM teams to ensure accurate revenue capture and support the evolution of our pricing models.
- Orchestrate Complex Programs: Act as a key leader within the product organization, orchestrating complex, multi-year initiatives across multiple engineering teams and managing dependencies to ensure predictable delivery of the product roadmap.
- Champion the Enterprise Customer: Be the ultimate advocate for our customers' operational experience, translating their needs for stability, security, and predictability into concrete product features, clear support policies, and a world-class application management lifecycle.
- Bridge Strategy and Execution: Act as a bridge between our enterprise customers' needs and our engineering teams, ensuring complex technical requirements are translated into a strategic, actionable roadmap.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5-10 years of Product Management experience, with a significant portion focused on platform-level, infrastructure, or highly technical products (e.g., iPaaS, PaaS, API gateways, Control planes, Distributed systems etc).
- Demonstrated ability to own and drive the roadmap for products with deep technical complexity, translating ambiguous customer needs into clear, actionable engineering requirements and user stories.
- Experience working in an enterprise software environment with a strong understanding of hybrid and multi-cloud deployment models (e.g., public cloud, private cloud, on-premises).
- Proven track record of leading large-scale, cross-functional technical programs from concept through to delivery in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to articulate a complex technical vision to both engineering teams and executive leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
- Direct experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, other integration platforms (iPaaS), or API Management platforms.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and their application in enterprise environments.
- Experience with products that have usage-based pricing, consumption models, or complex metering requirements.
- A background in software development, solutions engineering, or platform architecture, providing a deep empathy for the development lifecycle.
- Experience managing products that support government cloud (GovCloud) or other highly regulated environments.
- A strong understanding of application lifecycle management, including CI/CD, monitoring, and operational best practices.
