Position Overview:

Salesforce is seeking an experienced leader to drive the execution of one of the company's most critical initiatives: the Red Account Program. This role is responsible for building and scaling the cross-functional, proactive, and data-driven programs designed to mitigate customer risk and churn. The successful candidate will excel at translating strategy into action, driving global program adoption, and ensuring operational excellence across all program pillars. This position requires a leader with deep experience in large-scale program management, leading through influence in a highly matrixed environment, and delivering measurable, high-impact business outcomes.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Program Execution & Operational Excellence: Lead the global execution and day-to-day management of the Red Account program, translating high-level strategy into actionable project plans and deliverables. Oversee the global deployment of all program initiatives, ensuring operational readiness and consistency.
  • Cross-Functional Program Management: Act as the central operational leader for the program, managing the critical interlocks and dependencies between Sales, Services, Customer Success, and Product organizations. Drive project plans and ensure seamless coordination to achieve unified business objectives.
  • Operationalizing Risk Mitigation: Partner closely with Customer Success Operations, Data Science, and Business Technology teams to implement and refine processes that connect predictive risk models to action. Ensure that data-driven signals effectively trigger the appropriate intervention programs and that those programs are running efficiently.
  • Performance Tracking & Reporting: Own the tracking and analysis of all program key performance indicators (KPIs). Deliver regular, clear, and concise progress reports to program stakeholders and executive leadership. Manage the operational cadence for key stakeholder interlocks, including those with Sales and Product leaders. Conduct root cause analysis for red accounts and identify recurring themes to proactively address and mitigate potential issues.
  • Program Optimization & Iteration: Foster a culture of operational excellence by identifying opportunities to streamline processes and improve program effectiveness. Leverage data and stakeholder feedback to drive the iterative enhancement and efficiency of all program components.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • A minimum of 10-12+ years of progressive experience in a program management or operational leadership capacity within Sales, Customer Success, or Business Operations at a top-tier enterprise technology company.
  • A proven track record in a senior role (leader of leaders) with a dedicated focus on executing customer retention, risk mitigation, or large-scale transformation programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through influence and drive execution across a complex, matrixed global organization.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making and performance management.
  • Deep expertise in managing large-scale, global programs with multiple stakeholders and complex dependencies.
  • A self-starter with a proven ability to navigate ambiguity, providing clarity, structure, and direction in an exceptionally fast-paced environment.
  • Outstanding communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to present complex information clearly and concisely to senior stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • An MBA or equivalent advanced degree.
  • PMP or other relevant program management certification.
  • Prior experience in top-tier management consulting is advantageous.
