About the Role

As a Security and Industrial Security (SIS) CSSO, you'll be at the heart of this mission, ensuring our government security programs comply with critical regulations like NISPOM and the Intelligence Community Directives (ICD). This is an exciting opportunity in a high-growth area where you'll play a vital role in protecting and earning our customers' trust every day on the SIS team.
You'll report to the Director of Government Security Programs and work on a variety of projects, focusing on overall Industrial Security compliance. You'll use your expertise to manage and administer security programs, support cleared personnel, and provide essential operational support for our secure facilities. This is an on-site role with flexibility. Typically, this role is in 4 days a week and may be more based on operational demand.

- Serve as the primary liaison between Salesforce and government agencies for security clearance matters.
- Guide personnel through the security clearance process, including preparing nomination packages, review SF86s, e-QIP submissions, and fingerprinting.
- Perform actions such as visit certifications, badge issuing/renewal, foreign travel, and similar reporting obligations.
- Brief and debrief employees on their security clearance obligations.
- Maintain accurate security clearance records and databases, ensuring all information is current and compliant.
- Conduct security prescreening for new hires and provide security-related training.
- Administer routine aspects of our industrial security programs in accordance with NISPOM, ICD, and other regulations.
- Support self-inspections of our cleared facilities and prepare for government audits.
- Identify security deficiencies and recommend corrective actions.
- Investigate, document, and report security violations and incidents.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant corporate and government policies and standards.
- Perform industrial security tasks to support logical, physical access control, and visitor management.
- Provide daily operational support for the Secure Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF).
- Respond to alarms and other emergencies outside of normal working hours (on-call).
- Support the maintenance of all security documentation and files as required by the government.
- Support maintaining end of day logs, safe checks, visitor logs and pass down logs
- Experience with COMSEC and DIAS is a plus.
- Assist in the development of new programs that help security teams understand and influence business roadmaps.
- Create presentations, trainings, dashboards, and metrics to track program performance and provide reports to senior management.
- Collaborate with the SIS team and Information Systems Managers on technical security initiatives and be open to learning new things.
- Support facility operations, including technical, financial, and business activities.
Required Qualifications
- Clearance: Must hold a current Top Secret/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience as a CSSO or Facility Security Officer.
- Certification: Must have or be able to attain the FSO certification.
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of security databases and systems, including DISS, NISS, eQIP, eAPP, and similar.
- Soft Skills: Excellent interpersonal communication and customer service skills.
- Knowledge: A deep understanding of Industrial Security regulations from the Intelligence Community, DoD, and Civilian Agencies.
- Travel: Willingness to travel up to 10%.
Preferred Qualifications
- Deep experience with Personnel Security relative to the NISPOM and ICDs.
- Experience using security management software such as ThreatSwitch, SIMS, Access Commander or a similar SaaS platform.
- Experience in building and/or maintaining a SCIF.
Education
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
This candidate must be a U.S. citizen (U.S. born or naturalized) who does not hold dual citizenship and agrees to complete a U.S. federal government Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) for a Moderate Public Trust position.This position requires a USA TS/SCI with Polygraph security access level.
