Skills, Experiences & Qualifications
- 8+ years of IT experience with hands-on working experience in the Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or Communities.
- Strong working knowledge of APEX (classes, triggers, and web services), Salesforce APIs, SOQL
- Familiarity with Salesforce Platform Event Integration and Change Data Capture
- Experience working on Salesforce Agentforce AI platform
- Strong proficiency in Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Aura.
- Good understanding of Salesforce DX.
- Proficient in object-oriented design, knowledge of design patterns/ trigger/ integration framework
- Implement and maintain integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and other tools.
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and deployment activities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and bugs.
- Proficient in configuring and managing Jenkins-based CI/CD pipelines to automate build and deployment workflows.
- Ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices, coding standards, and security guidelines.
- Experience in Salesforce configuration and customisation.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Experience using Source Control Management systems (ex. Git, Bitbucket)
- Experience working with Git
- Experience working with Visual Studio Code or any equivalent IDE.
- Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodology
- Experience with Salesforce data tools (Data Loader/ Jitterbit/any other ETL tool)
Responsibilities
- Analyze and understand the existing implementation
- Strong analytical and debugging skills
- Build new applications on the Salesforce platform and adhere to all the best practices.
- Develop applications adhering to design patterns
- Write effective Apex test cases
- Diagnose, track, and manage quality issues to resolution
- Work with a cross-functional team, business analysts, and product owners for product delivery
- Ability to effectively communicate status and risk to the team and manager
Deliverables & Results
- Should deliver fully functional business logic with all the best practices incorporated
- Ensure the existing functionalities are intact and no impact on them due to the new implementation.
- Have all the new triggers implemented using the identified trigger framework.
- Should deliver effective unit test cases with 85% of coverage and should cover positive, negative, boundary, and load testing scenarios.
- Document all the key designs and write the technical design document for the new implementation.
- Deploy the new functionalities to higher sandbox environments.
