About the Position
The Strategy and Operations team is a high-performance team chartered with assisting the SVP of Americas Alliances & Channels Business Unit in driving the business forward. This involves providing a mix of sound strategic advice combined with practical operational insight.
The background of the team includes a mix of top tier strategic consulting (Bain, BCG, Deloitte, etc), financial institutions, and strong operational experience in both large blue chip companies and start-ups.
The individual in this role will share responsibility for driving the continued success of Salesforce by supporting our partner growth strategy. Example projects you will work on range from the very strategic to the very operational. Deliverables range from robust analytic models, custom performance analysis, scalable reporting infrastructure, and the packaging of findings into presentation-ready content for executives. The candidate will interact with various areas of the organization and get good exposure to senior executives.
The successful candidate will have a relentless curiosity, and possess a passion for creating innovative analysis to identify opportunities. Moreover, they will excel at developing recommendations that transcend the numbers. Ideally, this person will have worked at a top-tier management consultancy, an investment bank, or acted in a similar capacity, and will feel comfortable interacting with senior management on a regular basis.
Responsibilities:
- Design and interpret key performance metrics, including sales pipeline
- Lead ongoing analysis of business performance to support daily operations
- Assist in developing and delivering presentations for senior executives
- Support strategic initiatives including sales programs, solution development
- Prepare analysis and recommendations for strategic decision making
Desired Skills/Experience:
- 5+ years in management consulting, financial institutions or SaaS industry experience
- Work experience focused on quantitative analysis, Excel and logical reasoning; experience using databases for analysis
- Strong presentation skills, especially related to building compelling PowerPoint presentations
- Exceptional problem solving skills: demonstrated ability to structure complex problems, develop solutions
- Creativity in developing actionable recommendations for presentation to senior management
- Self-starter and high degree of motivation to go above and beyond the task at hand
- Degree or equivalent relevant experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on the core proficiencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.)
Note: This role is Office-Flex, with the expectation that you will work from a Salesforce office three days per week.

For New York-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $117,100 to $199,700.
For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $117,100 to $199,700.
For Illinois based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $107,700 to $183,500.
