Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for optimizing processes and mitigating risk in a dynamic, high-growth environment? Do you excel at influencing change and driving impactful results? We're seeking a Manager, Risk & Process Excellence to join our Global Incentive Compensation (GIC) team.

In this pivotal role, you'll be instrumental in shaping the future of our incentive compensation operations. You'll build a comprehensive, end-to-end view of our processes and systems, identifying critical risks and developing robust mitigation strategies. Your expertise will directly influence our transformation towards standardization, automation, and optimized controls, ensuring the integrity and efficiency of our global compensation programs. This isn't just about tracking risks; it's about proactively designing solutions, driving cross-functional initiatives, and providing executive leadership with the insights they need to make informed decisions. If you thrive in a fast-paced, hybrid (3 days in office per week), collaborative environment and are driven to make a significant impact, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Do:

  • Strategic Risk & Process Leadership:

    • Develop and maintain a holistic, end-to-end roadmap of GIC processes, systems, and projects, meticulously identifying risk points and crafting comprehensive mitigation plans.
    • Provide strategic thought leadership, proactively identifying opportunities to enhance the ecosystem through automation, standardization, and process optimization to mitigate risk.
    • Lead and/or partner on cross-functional initiatives to identify and remediate operational and system gaps, optimize SOX controls, and drive long-term process transformation.
  • Impactful Reporting & Communication:

    • Design and deliver executive-level dashboards and reports that clearly communicate the status of GIC's risk portfolio, mitigation progress, and key performance indicators.
    • Partner with our SOX360 team to ensure current and proposed processes and system improvements are fully compliant, and effectively communicate SOX status.
    • Distill complex technical information into clear, actionable insights and develop user-friendly playbooks for critical processes.
  • Process Excellence & Control Optimization:

    • Continuously build and embed a strong risk management culture across GIC.
    • Drive internal projects focused on enhancing operational controls and risk awareness.
    • Lead the development of GIC-specific risk management policies and facilitate the adoption of corporate risk policies.
    • Drive root cause analysis and remediation planning, guiding business owners through successful implementation.

What You'll Bring:

  • Proven Experience: 5+ years of experience in project management, consulting (management, process improvement, or SOX), or a strong background in risk management, IT SOX, and/or accounting/finance. CPA or public accounting experience is a plus.
  • Strategic & Analytical Acumen: Exceptional problem-solving and analytical capabilities with a demonstrated ability to structure complex problems and develop effective solutions. Proficient in illustrating trends through metrics and data.
  • Influential Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead highly complex projects and influence outcomes. A history of successfully leading large system implementations within a SOX-compliant environment is preferred.
  • Process Optimization Expertise: Strong understanding of process improvement methodologies and internal controls, with a demonstrated ability to enhance efficiency and scalability through technology and process improvements.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively partner and influence cross-functional teams (e.g., Sales, Finance, Operations, HR) and tailor information to diverse audiences (business partners, SOX, executives).
  • Results-Oriented Drive: A self-starter with a strong sense of urgency, capable of independently driving projects to completion. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with ambiguity and shifting priorities.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail, with experience in auditing or developing SOX and/or operational controls within a public accounting or public company environment.

Nice to Haves:

  • Knowledge or experience with key business processes in a cloud technology company, particularly Incentive Compensation and related upstream dependencies.
  • Familiarity with how software companies go-to-market and how strategic changes impact operational systems.
  • Experience with Salesforce, automated commission payments, CRM, and quote-to-cash processes.
