The Program Manager, Marketing M&A plays a meaningful role on the Marketing M&A team, spearheading strategic initiatives that drive profitable growth for our acquired companies. M&A program managers are responsible for integration programs from announcement to post-close, ensuring successful marketing integration of our acquired companies across people, processes, and systems. Success will be measured against the Deal's Integration V2MOM and integration health metrics.
Overview of the Role
The Marketing M&A Program Manager drives all of the fundamental and critical program management responsibilities required to successfully integrate various acquisition types, ranging from tuck-ins to adjacencies to net new clouds. This person will partner with other members of the Marketing M&A team to drive strategy, in addition to helping to plan, organize, and work with our M&A partners to help execute the vision for our key initiatives.
Your Responsibilities
- Ensure Program Standardization Across Integrations. You provide guidelines for operating best practices, including meeting strategy, templates, comms overview, etc.
- Develop and Maintain Program Status. Drives the program review/status meeting. Responsible for the agenda, attendees, meeting notes, and resources. Ensures the team stays on time and on task, as well as documents and aids in removing any blockers.
- Support Integration Strategy and Planning. Partner with teams to develop a comprehensive integration roadmap that spans people, processes, and systems. Expectations on deliverables include the following, but are not limited to:
- They develop a program RACI, identifying functional roles and responsibilities across partners, delivery teams, and project team members.
- They schedule program kickoff/s with cross-functional teams.
- They create and share meeting agendas for integration program meetings.
- They partner with the integration leaders to ensure the work items in the backlog are prioritized and meet the Definition of Done (DoD).
- They are accountable for gathering deliverables and mapping out due dates, milestones and assignees.
- They are accountable for the RAID Log.
- They are accountable for a stakeholder communication plan that outlines how they will communicate (method/s, frequency) with stakeholders who have an interest or influence on the project.
- Integration Execution
- Facilitating Ad Hoc requests (will leverage a workflow if necessary)
- PMs to share meeting notes and action items for all meetings they are facilitating.
- Maintaining status docs & program plan
- The Marketing M&A program manager organizes and facilitates a post project retrospective to capture feedback and execute on future improvements.
- They also prep and distribute any pre-meeting documents that should be sent out to the team in advance to help further discussion
About You
- 5+ years of project management experience, ideally within Marketing and M&A fields. Highly adaptive to change and comfortable with uncertainty
- Bachelor's degree (PMP certification preferred).
- Expertise in project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.) and proven experience managing complex, cross-functional projects with external vendors and internal teams. Comfortable switching between the tactical and strategic
- Cultivates a trust-based environment with team members and stakeholders alike
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to lead teams, manage stakeholder expectations, and drive the adoption of new technologies and processes.

- Comfortable communicating clearly to stakeholders at all levels & leading program-centric meetings
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to evolving project requirements, ensuring continuous improvement across integrations.
