You will own and drive parts of our Monitoring Platform which includes distributed tracing, metrics collection and storage, log analytics, synthetic monitoring, events, alerts, UI, ML, and dedicated solutions to support incident troubleshooting and detection. You will engage Salesforce-wide data & insights consumers to understand their needs and jobs to be done, and closely work with product managers, software engineers, data and service owners, Security, and several other cross-functional global teams to define, build and execute on key platform capabilities. You will build meaningful relationships with teams and management in many Salesforce business units to drive implementation, execution, metrics to support all Salesforce business, customer, and operations.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver a coherent strategy, including user and product requirements, competitive analysis, success metrics, and go-live plans.
- Partner with the User Experience team to drive product design and ensure a seamless user experience.
- Align and prioritize customer requests and enhancements across PMs, translating them into quarterly milestones and actionable backlogs.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and PM peers to deliver on strategic and tactical objectives, serving as product owner for your scrum team(s).
- Continuously improve service visibility, incident response, insights, and overall quality through new capabilities and processes.
- Engage with partner and customer communities to drive enthusiasm and adoption, working closely with key customers to envision, plan, and execute solutions.

Experience/Skills Required:
- 4+ years of solid product management experience with a proven track record of building impactful products from concept to delivery
- Demonstrated experience in gathering and transforming product requirements into an actionable product roadmap
- Top-notch written and oral communication skills, including experience presenting to executive leadership and evangelizing product strategy
- Strong collaboration, influence, and negotiation skills to align the organization around prioritization and delivery of product roadmap
- Exceptional time management skills to effectively juggle multiple demanding priorities
- Strong platform user experience/design sense
- Strategic thinker with the ability to influence, align, and inspire cross-functional teams
Desired Skills:
- Proven experience in platform product management
- Familiarity with data and AI technologies, public cloud services, or cloud-native architectures
- Solid understanding of infrastructure and product lifecycle, with ability to adapt knowledge in a dynamic environment using agile or similar methodologies
- Awareness of secure software development lifecycle principles, with ability to collaborate effectively with security and engineering partners
- Master's degree in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent. MBA preferred

For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $172,000 to $236,500.
