We are looking for a Director of Product Management for the MuleSoft's Developer Experiences product line, to lead the strategic vision, execution, and continued success of our developer tooling product portfolio. This role is critical in delighting MuleSoft's vibrant and passionate developer community, who design and build mission-critical integration workflows and APIs that form the backbone of thousands of organizations across industries and geographies.

You will be responsible for defining the long-term product roadmap, ensuring operational excellence across multiple developer tooling and experiences, while driving seamless customer adoption.

What you'll do:

  • Directly own and drive the execution of DX products such as API Designer, DataWeave, MUnit, Mule Maven Plug-in ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of features that enhance platform capabilities and directly contribute to increased customer adoption and expansion.
  • Proactively identify and prioritize product improvements by synthesizing customer needs, market trends, and business objectives, ensuring a continuous cycle of innovation that fuels MuleSoft's product line growth.
  • Collaborate strategically with marketing, sales, customer success and content experience teams to develop and execute compelling narratives, customer stories, and documentation that drives continuous developer productivity improvements & faster roll outs of integration projects.
  • Establish and maintain deep relationships with MuleSoft developers and customers, ensuring faster and successful adoption by providing adequate product support.
  • Represent the product organization at key GTM events, such as Dreamforce, TrailblazerDX, World Tours, Analyst briefings, and strategic customer engagements.

What you should have:

  • 8+ years of experience in Product Management, specifically in a developer centric product / platform ecosystem.
  • Expert level understanding and hands-on experience with Application connectivity, Data transformations, API standards and Integration patterns such as REST, SOAP, gRPC, oData, Async API, GraphQL, and message brokers.
  • Demonstrated experience to work cross-functionally and build strong, influential relationships with team members at all levels of an organization, including senior leadership within product, engineering, sales, customer success and support.
  • Prior experience with iPaaS platforms such as MuleSoft Anypoint platform would be a plus.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking ability to envision, clearly articulate and influence the evolution of product and portfolio beyond the next 12-18 months.
  • Proven experience in synthesizing and translating complex market needs into clear, actionable product requirements; ability to manifest the product vision/direction via compelling positioning, roadmaps, and technical delivery at a strategic level.
  • Deep knowledge and validated use of agile software development practices including Scrum/Agile methodology and continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) for delivering robust software applications and platforms.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling and executive-level stories for diverse audiences to communicate strategy, product roadmap, operational delivery, and industry thought leadership.

Ability to travel domestically and internationally ~10-20% of the time for team offsites, Salesforce sponsored events, industry thought leadership, and key customer engagements.

For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $211,500 to $306,600.

For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $230,800 to $334,600.
