About the opportunity:
The ideal candidate will be a strategic partner to our customers, building robust relationships with key stakeholders and c-suite decision-makers, with a focus on statutory health Insurance accounts in Germany. This role goes beyond sales; it is about building lasting value and driving customer success through the innovative use of our platform. The candidate will cultivate and enhance customer satisfaction within assigned accounts, craft and deliver a comprehensive account strategy aligned with customer business goals, and navigate the full sales cycle by leveraging various resources to support deal closure. The AE will prioritise establishing a qualified target account list and a go-to-market strategy, communicating the outstanding benefits of Salesforce solutions to foster customer growth and expand Salesforce's footprint within existing accounts through strategic planning and execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive acquisition and growth of key accounts within the statutory health insurance sector
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies in close collaboration with internal teams across product, marketing, and delivery
- Build and nurture a strong network of client stakeholders, especially at C-level and decision-making levels
- Understand customer pain points and industry challenges, aligning our solutions to deliver high business value - including digital platforms, data analytics, and cloud services
- Lead complex sales cycles from discovery to close, including high-value deal structuring and contract negotiations
- Maintain a healthy pipeline through active prospecting, qualification, and CRM-based forecasting
- Monitor market trends and competitor offerings; represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Economics, IT, Insurance Management, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in enterprise B2B solution sales, ideally with a focus on insurance or financial services
- Strong knowledge of the insurance industry, including business models, digital transformation, and regulatory dynamics
- Proven track record of winning and growing complex customer accounts, ideally involving multi-stakeholder sales cycles
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills - comfortable engaging at executive level
- Strategic mindset with a hands-on, self-driven approach and entrepreneurial spirit
- Fluent in English (business level) and German
