Empower Digital Transformation in the Dutch Public Sector with Salesforce

We're now looking for a Named Account Executive to join our growing Public Sector team, focusing on strategic partnerships with Central Government organizations in the Netherlands. If you're passionate about driving meaningful change at a national level, this is your opportunity to help shape the future of government services.

Your Role: Guide Central Government Through Transformation

As a Named Account Executive for Central Government, you'll work with some of the most influential public sector bodies in the Netherlands-ministries, executive agencies, and national institutions. Your mission is to help them modernize operations, improve citizen engagement, and unlock the full potential of digital government through Salesforce technology.

You will:

  • Own and grow a defined portfolio of central government accounts across the Netherlands.
  • Lead complex sales cycles, from discovery through to close, aligning Salesforce solutions to key strategic initiatives.
  • Develop trusted relationships with senior public sector stakeholders and decision-makers at CxO and Director level.
  • Co-create digital transformation programs that drive citizen trust, transparency, and service efficiency.
  • Collaborate across Salesforce teams, including industry experts, architects, solution engineers, and partners.
  • Represent Salesforce at key public sector forums, roundtables, and industry events.

What We're Looking For

  • A proven track record in enterprise software sales, ideally in or to central government or large public institutions.
  • A strong understanding of the Dutch central government landscape, policy priorities, and digital transformation goals.
  • Experience navigating complex, multi-stakeholder sales with long sales cycles.
  • Excellent strategic thinking and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence at executive levels.
  • Fluency in Dutch and English.
  • A collaborative, entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for public value creation through technology.
