Salesforce Inc. seeks Lead Data Scientist - Sales in San Francisco, CA:
Job Duties: Create high-visibility data products and decision-making tools for Salesforce's leaders. Partner with Senior Leadership (VP+) and key business stakeholders to gain insights into their objectives, providing strategic guidance on product direction, roadmaps, growth targets, and retention strategies. As a Lead Data Scientist, you will build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders. Own the complete cycle of translating ideas from concept to production-grade data science solutions, ensuring scalability and robustness. Develop and implement advanced data analysis, predictive and prescriptive modeling techniques to extract insights and deploy them into production pipelines. Own the delivery of an end-to-end product by working with cross functional teams. Review, maintain and improve existing products and pipelines to ensure they remain relevant. Provide leadership and mentorship to the data science team, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration, all aimed at driving tangible business outcomes. Contribute to expanding the Salesforce data culture by growing new relationships, hosting learning sessions, integrating or designing new tools, and autonomously improving team processes. Telecommuting is an option.
Minimum Requirements: Master's degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Business Analytics, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline, and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in a related field.
Special Skill Requirements: (1) Data Science; (2) Statistics; (3) Data Pipelines; (4) Algorithms; (5) Machine Learning Engineering; (6) ML Production Pipelines; (7) Time Series Forecasting; (8) Python; (9) Hypothesis Testing; (10) SQL; (11) Bayesian modeling; (12) Git; and (13) AWS/Sagemaker. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option.
Salary: $158,642.00 - $236,500.00 per annum.
