The EMEA Tableau Field Marketing team plays a crucial role in the success of our organizations go-to-market within the region, working hand in hand with our industry sales leaders, cloud and AI experts, and solution engineers. Our goal is to drive successful campaigns and events for our customers and prospects, as part of the EMEA Marketing plan.
Role Description
We are looking for a talented and highly motivated Field Marketing Manager to join the Tableau EMEA Marketing team. As a cross OU Field Marketing Manager, you'll collaborate closely with various cross functional teams, such as in region field marketing teams, the EMEA center of excellence, strategic events team, product marketing and many others. You will help lead and execute integrated marketing campaigns and programs that drive business outcomes and support the Tableau brand. This role will have an emphasis around Tableau's footprint at Strategic Events, 3rd Party and provide support for in region events and programming needs in support of the regional field marketers.
We operate in a fast-paced environment and require someone with initiative who isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves and jump right in, taking responsibility for their programs' success, communicating effectively across teams and stakeholders and meeting deadlines.
The role is ideally based at Salesforce's London office with an expected in-office time min 2-3 days per week.
Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end planning, execution, and optimization of field marketing programs and events-including trade shows, customer conferences, executive roundtables, and regional activations-ensuring alignment with sales and marketing goals.
- Develop and manage event strategies that drive brand awareness, pipeline generation, and customer engagement across key regions.
- Collaborate closely with sales, product marketing, and demand gen teams to tailor event content and experiences to target personas and regional market needs.
- Own event logistics from concept to execution, including venue selection, vendor management, budgeting, staffing, onsite coordination, and post-event follow-up.
- Analyze performance data and pipeline impact of all field programs and events, translating insights into actionable improvements and ROI reporting.
- Leverage Salesforce and supporting marketing automation platforms to track leads, measure conversions, and support attribution analysis.
- Build and maintain a calendar of field activities, ensuring proper timing, segmentation, and coordination with broader marketing campaigns.
- Manage field marketing budgets, ensuring efficient spend and alignment with KPIs and business objectives.
- Continuously explore new event formats, channels, and technologies to increase engagement and scale reach.
- Partner with the analytics and marketing ops teams to refine reporting frameworks, improve data quality, and support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in B2B marketing, ideally at a consultancy or large B2B SaaS company
- Proven ability to develop and execute data-driven marketing campaigns.
- Substantial experience collaborating with sales teams to achieve enterprise results
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to operate in a fast-moving, fast-growing, ever-changing environment and to manage multiple projects effectively
- A passion for our company's mission and products
