We are looking for a Director of Product Management for Hybrid Deployments to join the MuleSoft team and lead the strategic vision, execution, and continued success of our Kubernetes based hybrid deployment offering - Runtime Fabric (RTF). This role is paramount in delighting our largest customers, who significantly rely on our hybrid solutions. You will be responsible for defining the long-term product roadmap, ensuring operational excellence across deployment models, and driving seamless customer onboarding to modern platforms.

What you'll do:

  • Define, own, and execute the comprehensive product strategy for RTF with a strong focus on evolving it as the strategic path forward.
  • Directly own and drive the execution of RTF Platform initiatives, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of features that enhance platform capabilities and directly contribute to increased customer adoption and expansion.
  • Proactively identify and prioritize product improvements by synthesizing customer needs, market trends, and business objectives, ensuring a continuous cycle of innovation that fuels MuleSoft's product line growth.
  • Collaborate strategically with marketing, sales, and technical writing teams to develop and execute compelling narratives, customer stories, and documentation that accelerate customer onboarding to Runtime Fabric, effectively communicating the value proposition.
  • Establish and maintain deep relationships with cutting edge MuleSoft customers ensuring limited escalations, providing adequate product support, and strategically securing their expanding footprint on MuleSoft's hybrid solutions.
  • Demonstrate industry thought leadership and customer success through high-profile presentations and engagements at Salesforce events, key customer engagements, and prominent 3rd party forums, positioning MuleSoft as a leader in hybrid integration.
  • Ensure MuleSoft technology and processes consistently implement our #1 value of Trust with all needed security, data management, and compliance processes required for regulatory compliance and Salesforce standards.

What you should have:

  • 10+ years in product management and technical leadership, with at least 6 years in a leadership role managing significant product areas or teams, demonstrating a consistent record of delivery of product functionality and business KPIs.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking ability to envision, clearly articulate and influence the evolution of product and portfolio beyond the next 12-18 months.
  • Deep technical expertise in Kubernetes (K8s) and extensive experience running complex workloads in customer systems (hybrid or edge environments).
  • Strong public cloud knowledge (Azure, AWS, IBM, and others) with a proven ability to lead partnerships and influence joint roadmaps with major cloud providers.
  • Proven experience in synthesizing and translating complex market needs into clear, actionable product requirements; ability to manifest the product vision/direction via compelling positioning, roadmaps, and technical delivery at a strategic level.
  • Deep knowledge and validated use of agile software development practices including Scrum/Agile methodology and continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) for delivering robust software applications and platforms.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling and executive-level stories for diverse audiences to communicate strategy, product roadmap, operational delivery, and industry thought leadership.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally and build strong, influential relationships with team members at all levels of an organization, including senior leadership.
  • Ability to influence and deliver results in global, matrixed environments comprising multiple internal and external customers.

Ability to travel domestically and internationally ~10-20% of the time for team offsites, Salesforce sponsored events, industry thought leadership, and key customer engagements.

For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $211,500 to $306,600.

For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $230,800 to $334,600.
