Director, Enterprise Architecture - Canada
We are seeking a Director of Enterprise Architecture to lead our Canada Architecture Team. This role works closely with Sales Leadership to align the Enterprise Architecture team with the region's top priorities and opportunities.
Your Responsibilities
The Director of Enterprise Architecture will:
- Strategically partner with Sales Leadership to drive scale, innovate, and deliver exceptional quarterly and annual growth across Retail sales teams.
- Build and lead a high-performing team of Enterprise Architects by fostering a collaborative and supportive culture that promotes innovation and excellence.
- Hire inclusively, nurture diverse talent, and invest in employee development and career progression.
- Be a player-coach, working hands-on with team members to solve complex problems and coordinate internal and external resources as needed.
- Act as an executive sponsor for key customer engagements identified by your sales partners.
- Be an evangelist to various internal stakeholders and create meaningful collaboration strategies to enable a team-selling environment. With external customers, the Director will strive to build relationships with IT and Business executives.
- Manage large and medium scale projects/initiatives requiring complex cross-functional collaboration.

Required Skills
- Proficient with CRM technologies (or other Enterprise business applications) and be able to present to an executive audience of both business and technology leaders.
- Extensive pre-sales experience is required.
- Experience in Enterprise Architecture concepts and methodologies.
- Strong Enterprise transformation experience including Business-IT alignment and establishing operating models for implementation success.
- The Director must be able to support the Sales team by providing guidance on sales strategies, approaches to solve specific problems, as well as a represent their team's needs to Salesforce executives.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills with a focus on needs analysis, positioning, and business justification. The Director should be able to communicate equally with internal resources such as Product Marketing and Sales Management and Customers to gain commitment and support.
- Flexibility and adaptability is paramount.
Required Experience
- Minimum 10+ years in the IT field
- At least 3+ years of leadership experience, including team management and strategic planning responsibilities
Desired Skills
- Prior pre-sales management experience is highly desirable.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
