The Salesforce Go-To-Market Software Development Group seeks Technical Project / Program Manager with strong technical acumen and delivery expertise to provide leadership and cross-team coordination for large-scale and complex solution transformation across the Go To Market space.
The Technical Project/Program Manager coordinates between multiple solution delivery teams when projects / programs are created. The TPM is responsible for managing project/program budget, timeline, and working with Product Management to ensure scope delivery meets overall program goals and vision according to definitions of success. The TPM is critical in driving alignment across diverse teams for a successful delivery of complex initiatives across the Sales and Partner domains. They facilitate the seamless progression of work across all dependent teams, defining and clearing blockers and ensuring a steady flow of work through the contributing teams. TPMs understand the scope of the project/program at a macro level and are accountable for keeping all leadership, impacted teams, and stakeholders updated at all times about the progress, risks, and critical milestones of enterprise-level deliveries.
The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of Direct Sales, Agents, and Partner motions, excellent program management and interpersonal skills, and demonstrated ability to effectively engage with and present to senior leadership and executive stakeholders.
Your Impact - Responsibilities
- Ensure comprehensive alignment of deliverables across all contributing teams throughout the project and program lifecycle
- Facilitate comprehensive knowledge transfer and onboarding for new program members
- Drive the prioritization and execution of cross-functional program initiatives
- Oversee the meticulous tracking and management of all program documentation and artifacts
- Coordinate and monitor the progression and successful delivery of critical program milestones
- Lead and facilitate thorough program retrospectives upon closure and following the achievement of critical milestones to capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvement
- Actively engage with Portfolio Leaders to solicit and provide constructive feedback on Program Management tools, standards, and processes, identifying opportunities for enhancement
- Provide robust support to Portfolio Managers in the efficient intake and prioritization of new work
- Contribute significantly to Program Increment (PI) Planning (for SAFe-driven engagements) and other strategic work planning initiatives, synthesizing outputs into comprehensive program materials in close collaboration with Release Train Engineers (RTEs) and Product roles
- Orchestrate and manage intricate interdependencies between various projects and programs within the designated portfolios
Key Accountabilities
- Coordinate with product, engineering, architecture, and business stakeholders to identify overall goals, vision, and measures of success for program
- Ensure the establishment and meticulous tracking of defined measures of success and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) throughout the program
- Establish and enforce robust governance frameworks for decisions, escalations, and change controls pertaining to scope, schedule, and budget
- Effectively and accurately report delivery progress to program stakeholders
- Report key risks/issues to leadership and drive mitigations/resolutions
- Exercise diligent oversight and management of the program's financial budget
- Serve as a pivotal liaison, fostering seamless communication and integration between product teams, business units, and external stakeholders
- Collaborate with the Product team to identify and align on relevant GUS 'projects' for the program, ensuring their accurate creation in GUS in adherence to the established GUS work breakdown structure guidelines
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and/or Information Technology or equivalent experience
- 8+ years experience in Program/Project Role.
- Proficiency in enterprise-level software and collaboration platforms, including G-Suite, Smartsheets, or comparable systems
- Exceptional and highly effective interpersonal skills, complemented by superior verbal and written communication abilities
- Demonstrated ability to effectively synthesize business and technical requirements to develop robust project plans and estimates
- Proven capability to thrive in a dynamic, high-energy, and collaborative team-oriented environment
- Adeptness at managing multiple priorities concurrently and performing effectively under pressure
- Extensive experience and expertise in business process optimization pertaining to enterprise software and internal operational workflows
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using Salesforce Technology
- PMP Certification or MSP Certification

For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $145,200 to $199,700.
