Overview of the Role
As Data Analytics Manager for Global Procurement and Sourcing you will be responsible for our reporting and analytics to support key metrics, key performance indicators, and develop executive level procurement dashboards that provide critical visibility and insight to our organization. You will actively collaborate with other teams to focus on leveraging our complex source to pay reporting data sources, providing prescriptions for Salesforce Executives to effect the bottom line! In detail a successful candidate will need to:

  • Shepherd projects through all phases from formulation, to modeling, to evaluation, and to deployment of data science features to production
  • Comprehensively document data fields and their respective data sources to ensure a thorough understanding of data mapping across the procurement organization.
  • Improve on existing processes, define standard methodologies, and provide thought leadership around initiatives.
  • Partner with the leadership team on how to apply the team's models to our most complex strategic questions.
  • Work closely with your colleagues in our engineering, visualization, and analytics teams to deliver cross-functional success through our applications.

  • You take responsibility in providing executive ready reporting and analytics using our complex reporting landscape and drive for continuous process improvement and automation.
  • Committed to creating efficiencies through innovative solutions, consistently challenging existing processes to drive impactful change; leveraging AI and data to empower decision-making & process enhancements.
  • You have a deep understanding of procurement and/or finance data to ensure accuracy and completeness of our datasets and dashboards.
  • Outstanding project management skills, including the ability to scope, deliver and deploy predictive models in an enterprise environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to meticulously scrutinize datasets, identify anomalies, and ensure data integrity through meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proven expertise in eliciting, analyzing, and documenting detailed data requirements, encompassing data sources, formats, quality standards, and transformation processes
  • Demonstrated experience as a leader, whether as a technical influencer or a manager, guiding teams toward success.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of work experience in Business Intelligence, Reporting, Analytics, Decision Science, or Data Science.
  • Degree or equivalent relevant experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on theValues & Behaviors for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.)
  • Advanced or expert knowledge of SQL, Airflow, and Snowflake as well as data visualization and dashboard design theory and best practices. Advanced or expert knowledge of Tableau and either Python or R.
  • Experience working with data management systems and ETL frameworks.
  • Salesforce products (Sales & Service Cloud) preferred
  • Deep knowledge of standard processes and fundamental assumptions for statistical, articifical intelligence, and Machine Learning methodologies.
  • Compelling storyteller with active listening skills to lead the spectrum of stakeholder presentations to leadership briefings.
  • Proven track record in thinking strategically, working collaboratively, and leading the delivery of complex and highly impactful projects
  • Expert at visually representing complex information to drive business impact
