About the team

The Global Brand & Creative team within Marketing is responsible for our brand and marketing creative. From building brand awareness campaigns to designing experiences like Dreamforce, our multi-faceted team does it all. We are a collection of designers, copywriters, strategists, PMs, and more, whose sole purpose is to bring the brand to life across our incredible portfolio of work.

With an incredibly deep and diverse portfolio of customer success stories, we need a creative leader to help us to unlock the best-in-class stories and share them with the world. In partnership with our SVP, Customer Marketing, you will be the creative center of defining how these stories are told through a variety of mediums and channels - from events to campaigns.

In concert with Brand Creative, you will evolve the system for customer storytelling, defining the look-and-feel of everything from our photography to our artwork to our films. You will act as the bridge between Customer Marketing and Creative, ensuring that our customer storytelling is consistent and aligned to our brand in execution. You will help to craft the guidelines, structure and support resources for developing customer creative across mediums, driving consistency in output and storytelling globally.

Reporting into the SVP, Global Brand & Creative, you will also manage a team of talented designers and copywriters to help execute and uphold our goal of delivering best-in-class customer storytelling.

What you will do

  • Help to own the creative strategy, conceptual development, ideation and execution across key customer marketing briefs
  • Collaborate with Customer Marketing and Brand to select and craft stories that seamlessly align with Salesforce's brand strategy and messaging
  • Work cross functionally with key marketing leads to present creative concepts and solutions against briefs
  • Extend the Salesforce brand system into customer marketing efforts, crafting the guidelines, systems and resources for concepting → execution across mediums
  • Partner with Customer Marketing and key Creative leaders to drive customer storytelling initiatives across core brand channels, including advertising and events
  • Partner with our Salesforce Studios film team to tell top customer stories, seamlessly integrating and pulling through our customer film narratives and storytelling devices into other customer marketing assets and moments
  • Manage cross-functional relationships to ensure on-brand execution of key customer stories
  • Partner with Customer Marketing to help further establish the process and strategy for working with cross-functional teams in terms of receiving, validating, leveraging and executing on a customer story across program types, e.g. strategic events, films
  • Lead, manage, and enable a team of customer marketing creatives to deliver on top customer stories assets

What experience you have:

  • BA or BFA
  • World-class portfolio of work that exemplifies top-notch conceptual ideas and development across a variety of mediums, inc. film
  • Outstanding presentation skills and proven ability to produce and pitch world-class strategic presentations to all levels of an organization
  • 8+ years experience working on a customer marketing creative team (or comparable - partner marketing, brand partnerships creative teams)
  • 12+ years experience in a creative agency or client-side group; B2B / tech experience is a plus
  • 7+ years experience leading and managing a team in a creative agency or internal creative group; global experience is a plus
  • 10+ years experience in marketing work with a rich portfolio including digital, print, interactive, website/mobile design and video
  • Hands-on expertise in developing creative solutions and campaigns across all mediums: advertising, film, websites, mobile and graphic design, Corporate ID, interactive, social campaigns, content marketing and events
  • Expert knowledge of creative process and all digital creative software tools

For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $214,800 to $327,600.

Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
