We're seeking a passionate and driven Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll be instrumental in building, deploying, and scaling our next-generation cloud-native applications. You'll leverage your expertise in Kubernetes, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), and automation to streamline our development and operations processes, ensuring high availability, scalability, and efficiency. Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy cloud-native applications and services on Kubernetes.
- Implement and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform & Helm to ensure repeatable and scalable deployments.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools in Golang, Python and Java to streamline build, deployment, and operational tasks.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines for efficient and reliable software delivery.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in our cloud infrastructure and applications.
- Collaborate closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving our engineering best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in cloud-native development, Kubernetes, and automation.
- Contribute to the documentation of systems and processes.
- Be on call when needed to support the infrastructure and our systems
Requirements:
- A related technical degree required.
- 8+ years of proven experience in developing and deploying applications in a cloud-native environment (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm for container orchestration and deployment.
- Experience with source control (Git/Perforce).
- Solid experience in automation using Golang and Bash for infrastructure and application deployments.
- Hands-on Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
- Understanding of microservices architecture and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Solid understanding of networking, security standard processes and cloud monitoring tools.
- A proactive and self-motivated approach with a passion for learning.
- Ability to learn quickly in a dynamic environment.
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience with Python and Java
- Experience with Jenkins/Spinnaker/Bamboo/etc

For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $200,800 to $276,100.
Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
