As a Client Architect, you will guide one of our most strategic automotive customers (Volkswagen) on their digital transformation journey as they respond to the challenges and opportunities of the 4th Industrial Revolution. You will work alongside the sales account team to help VW translate its business strategy into a technology vision and roadmap that delivers realizable business outcomes.

Why this work matters Global automotive customers are making high‑leverage decisions about how they grow, differentiate, and serve their own customers. Our role is to help them make those decisions with confidence. By bringing together a broad vision and defining an architecture strategy, your work will directly shape the digital future of one of the world's leading automotive manufacturers.
What success looks like Success in this role is when a C-level executive at VW (CIO/CTO/CDO) feels understood, sees a future they want to move towards, and gains the confidence to take the next step. You don't just explain technology - you help customers act on it, cultivating meaningful connections that turn digital transformation blueprints into reality.
What you'll do
- Act as a Strategic Advisor: Align with VW to co-create the Account strategy and own the technology vision.
- Build Trust at the C-Level: Become a trusted advisor to CIO/CTO/EA-level contacts and their teams as they look to transform their business.
- Lead Enterprise Architecture Engagements: Understand VW's business strategy and technology needs, identify key capabilities, and clearly link them to business outcomes.
- Drive the Solution Vision: Be accountable for the development of ROI-driven business case documents, visioning proposals, enterprise architecture artifacts, solution roadmaps, and executive presentations.
- Mentor and Guide: Share your expertise by mentoring sales, pre-sales, and customer resources on strategic opportunities.
The builder mindset we're looking for We are looking for someone who wants to help shape how Enterprise Architecture is done in the age of AI. We want a seasoned Business Architect or Transformation Leader who will explore new ways of working and help us turn those experiments into realizable business outcomes. If you get energy from helping build the future of the craft, you will feel at home here. You won't just build solutions for one customer; you will help us transform individual architectural wins into replicable frameworks that elevate our entire Solution Engineering organization.
Required Qualifications
- Recent consulting or enterprise experience is mandatory for this senior role.
- Enterprise/Chief Architect background with a CRM, Data, or Customer Experience focus.
- Proven experience advising automotive manufacturers on digital transformation, business architecture, or operating model redesign.
- Strong communication and executive presence with C-level clients (CIO/CTO/CDO).
- Business-fluent German and English (C1/C2).
- Based in Germany (Berlin, Frankfurt, Munich, Düsseldorf) or remote work close to the customer's offices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with the Salesforce ecosystem, particularly the Automotive Industry Cloud.
- Familiarity with modern Digital Operating Models, Transformation programs, and design thinking frameworks.
- Understanding of cloud platforms, integration patterns, and architectural principles.
- Experience navigating European data sovereignty, compliance, and trust concerns, particularly regarding enterprise AI adoption.
Why this team & How we help you grow You will work within a collaborative, matrix-style organization, teaming up across multiple teams and stakeholders. Curiosity and initiative are how we operate. While you bring deep Enterprise Architecture expertise to the table, we will help you expand your knowledge in emerging technologies, the Automotive Industry Cloud, and the transformative power of Agentforce.
A note from the hiring manager We challenge ideas, not people. We operate with clarity, curiosity, and ownership - and I invest in your development. If you are fluent in Salesforce's impact and eager to co‑create meaningful, enterprise-wide digital change alongside VW, I'd love to talk.
