Tableau / CRM Analytics Consultant

Job Responsibilities:
Consulting Services: Provide expert consulting services to executive-level customers to define strategic objectives and transformational opportunities related to CRM Analytics and Tableau within the Salesforce platform. Engagement Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop clear plans for the execution of change programs, considering people, process, and technology aspects to maximize the value derived from Salesforce. Requirements Gathering: Engage with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into actionable recommendations for CRM Analytics and Tableau solutions. Solution Design: Design and architect CRM Analytics and Tableau solutions tailored to customers' specific needs and objectives, ensuring alignment with best practices and industry standards. Data Analysis and Visualization: Utilize Tableau and CRM Analytics capabilities to analyze data, uncover insights, and create interactive dashboards and reports that drive informed decision-making and business growth. Training and Enablement: Provide training and enablement sessions to customers and internal teams on CRM Analytics and Tableau functionalities, ensuring adoption and proficiency across the organization. Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, serve as a trusted advisor and thought leader in CRM Analytics and Tableau. Business Intelligence Development: Analyze business requirements, design and build visualizations and dashboards, leveraging Tableau best practices to deliver effective BI solutions. Data Modeling and Integration: Develop data models and integrate data from multiple sources into Tableau for analysis and reporting purposes, ensuring data accuracy and consistency. Performance Optimization: Perform performance analysis and optimization of Tableau reports, dashboards, ETL processes, and other components to enhance system efficiency and user experience.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related discipline, with 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Visualization, Data Analytics, and Analytics solution delivery.
  • 2 - 3 years of proven ability crafting Tableau and/or CRM Analytics reports (or similar Analytics tools: QuickView, PowerBI, ...) and interactive Dashboard/Visualizations, with experience in filters, parameters, calculated fields, and working with multiple data sources.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and relational database models, with experience in data modeling and developing UML diagrams.
  • Experience with report scheduling, row-level security, and performance optimization is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodology and experience working in an agile environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present complex ideas to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills, able to think innovatively and deliver against tight deadlines.

Preferences:

  • Experience in performance analysis and optimization of reports, dashboards, and ETL processes.
  • Knowledge of Data governance infrastructure, including tuning performance issues and system operations.
  • Tableau Public profile with published content is a plus.
