Tee Times Coordinator

Palm Harbor, FL

General Purpose: Oversees all aspects of advance and regular tee times as well as maximizing revenue through golf inventory management.

  1. Essential Duties:


  • Insures the Club's Membership satisfaction in the area of event, services and requests. Promotes the club through excellent service, appearance and attitude.
  • Ensures that tee times are booked accurately.
  • Sets up tee sheets for the year.
  • Trains other associates on the tee time system.
  • Functions as the information liaison for Golf Operations.
  • Reports necessary tee time information to various departments.
  • Manages rates and maximizes utilization tee registration sheets related to course occupancy.
  • Manages the day guest program of selected local hotels and travel destinations.
  • Assists Group/Conference Sales Managers with all contracted tee time bookings.
  • Assists Tournament Coordinator with coordination of tournament tee times.
  • Responsible for interviewing, hiring, training, planning, assigning, and directing work, evaluating performance, rewarding, and disciplining associates; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
  • Manages department members that may include, but is not limited to: Tee Times Reservationist.
  • Assures that effective orientation and training are given to each new associate. Develops ongoing training programs.
  • Monitors business volume forecast and plans accordingly in areas of manpower, productivity, costs and other expenses.
  • Responsible for implementing and maintaining excellent service to achieve guest satisfaction.
  • Communicates any changes or new policies and procedures to the department.
  • Conducts staff meetings with subordinates.
  • Maintains flexibility to take on new and different tasks as directed by the Department Manager.
  • Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
  • Attends staff meetings.

  1. Education/Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience managing personnel.


  1. Language Skills: May be required: to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; to write routine reports and correspondence; to speak effectively before groups of customers or associates of the organization.


  1. Mathematical Skills: May be required: to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.


  1. Reasoning Ability: May be required: to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists; to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.


  1. Physical Demands: Regularly stands, walks, sits; uses hands to finger, handle, or feel; reaches with hands and arms; talks and hears. Occasionally climbs or balances; stoops, kneels, crouches, or crawls; lifts up to 25 pounds.


  1. Vision Requirements: Regularly uses close, distance, color, and peripheral vision as well as depth perception. Ability to adjust focus.


  1. Environment/Noise: Noise level is moderate.
