We are looking for a Patriot Reconfigurable Table Top Trainer (RT3) Operator to join our team. The Patriot® New Equipment Training (NET) team supports all Patriot partners worldwide. This highly professional and dedicated team of training Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), employ the latest technologies and processes of Instructor Led Training (ILT) to ensure warfighter success.

Responsibilities to Anticipate

  • Operate, set up, and perform maintenance, fault isolation, and repair of Reconfigurable Tabletop Trainers (RT3), Scenario Generation Group (SGG), Student Training Consoles (STC) and Instructor Training Group (ITG) equipment.
  • Analyze and develop training data base files for Patriot System Tactical Initialization and Air and Missile defense training scenarios for US and international customers.
  • Perform on the job training as needed.
  • Interface directly with customer representatives and be able to make appropriate scheduling decisions based upon equipment availability, student requirements and other factors.

This Unaccompanied onsite position is in Bahrain and will be a long-term international assignment with additional compensation.

Onboarding will be in Lawton, Oklahoma.

Basic Qualifications

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's and a minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years' experience. Additional years of experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Completion of specific US Army Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) training courses as an Enhanced Patriot Fire Control Operator and Maintainer.
  • Experience with Patriot PDB-8.x software and Patriot scenario generation.
  • Experience working with the applicable Patriot training devices such as SGG, STC and ITG.
  • Experience with the operation and maintenance of the RT3 and PCOFT systems.
  • Experience using the UNIX and Windows Computer operating systems.
  • Experience with computer system operations and troubleshooting of hardware and software.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with Patriot military specialty.
  • Excellent technical writing skills.
  • Previous military Instructor.
  • Experience in a military environment (e.g., US Army MOS 14E Patriot Fire Control Enhanced Operator / Maintainer; 14A Air Defense Artillery Officer; 140E Air and Missile Defense (AMD) Systems Tactician / Technician; 14T Patriot Launching Station Enhanced Operator / Maintainer).

Employment is contingent upon meeting all medical requirements for overseas assignment including comprehensive post-offer medical examination.

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
