Position Summary:

This position is responsible for assisting the Director, Beach Clubs with administering all processes and procedures associated with the startup and operation of the Royal Beach Club (RBC) portfolio, including leading special projects and business development aspects. Reporting to the Director, Beach Clubs, this role will collaborate closely with the Startup GM, Director of Island Projects and Innovation, Startup F&B Director, and Senior Manager Private Destinations F&B to oversee all aspects of the startup and eventual operation of the Royal Beach Club portfolio.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement of processes and procedures crucial for the successful startup and operation of the Royal Beach Club portfolio with subject matter experts.
  • Prepare the operation for full handover to the permanent leadership and working teams.
  • Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and business cases to communicate findings, recommendations, and progress updates to senior leadership.
  • Utilize analytical tools and techniques to gather, interpret, and present data related to stakeholders.
  • Provide analytical support and insights to inform decision-making processes related to resource allocation, budget planning, performance evaluation, workforce planning, and process effectiveness.
  • Create and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to assess effectiveness and drive continuous improvement efforts.
  • Assist the Director, Beach Clubs in partnering with Supply Chain to lead 3rd party Request for Proposals (RFPs) to develop crucial functions of the RBC business, including negotiating with 3rd party vendors.
  • Complete special projects while utilizing creative solutions to develop areas of the RBC business such as water taxi operations, retail, straw markets, shore excursions or other beach club experiences. Other projects could include enhancing guest experience, optimizing operational efficiency, or increasing revenue for the RBCs.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of strategies and objectives.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence within the Beach Club's team.
  • Liaise with Stakeholders to collect, analyze, review, and present key performance indicators and other metrics to aid decision-making.
  • Identify inefficiencies in operational processes and develop solutions to streamline workflows, reduce costs, and enhance productivity.
  • Capture action plans and timelines for activities and projects. Complete follow ups and provide feedback to stakeholders.
  • Attend meetings, take detailed meeting minutes, and compile comprehensive summaries when required.
  • Create visually appealing presentations to communicate findings, recommendations, and project updates to management and other stakeholders effectively.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills:
  • Four-year Bachelor's or equivalent (MBA preferred) or three to five years related experience in hospitality.
  • Startup or pre-opening experience and/or training preferred.
  • Experience working in diverse international environments.
  • Candidate must possess strong written and oral communication skills and be able to work effectively with all levels of operational personnel.
  • Proficiency in using a wide range of software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Gmail, Calendar).
  • Familiarity with cloud-based collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams, Slack, and Zoom for remote communication and collaboration.
  • Strong analytical skills, able to interpret and present complex information effectively using analysis and visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio.
  • Flexibility to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
