Senior Software Engineer, Developer Monetization (C++)

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Developer Monetization team, you will build applications and platforms that power Roblox's Creator Monetization systems. Your work will directly empower millions of creators to make a living within Roblox as they explore their creativity.
You will be working on projects to help our creators optimize their pricing strategies, expand accessibility of their product via systems such as regional prices, and enable them to provide personalized offers via Roblox shops with minimal effort.

You Will:
- Develop in-game APIs and Interfaces used by millions of developers in a reliable, secure manner.
- Design sophisticated client-server architectures to support 100 million concurrent users.
- Optimize performance for developer and user-facing APIs.
- Work with product, data science, and design to help refine strategy and requirements.
You Have:
- 5+ years of professional experience working on consumer-facing applications.
- 2+ years of experience with C++.
- Experience working with front-end servers or client side technologies (such as Android, iOS, etc)
- A collaborative mindset to partner with Product Managers and Designers.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a similar technical field.
For roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. All full-time employees are also eligible for equity compensation and for benefits as described on this page.
