Roblox is looking for a Corporate Paralegal to join our Legal team. You will provide support for our corporate governance and securities matters, including management of our domestic and international subsidiaries, help attorneys prepare board materials and management of our electronic board portal, maintenance of corporate records, and assistance with legal entity formation and dissolution. We are a growing legal team working on complex issues in a fun, exciting, and evolving environment.
This hybrid role reports to the Senior Director, Corporate and Securities Counsel and is based in our San Mateo, CA office (Tuesday-Thursday in-office).
You Will:
- Coordinate internally and with outside counsel on the compliance and corporate governance of our international and domestic subsidiaries
- Assist attorneys with the preparation of board and committee materials, including the preparation of minutes, resolutions, and other materials, and the management of our electronic board portal
- Partner with the finance and accounting teams and local counsel on preparation of statutory filings and legal reporting matters
- Assistance with entity formation, including preparing drafts of board and stockholder minutes, written consents and other corporate organizational documents
- Assistance with entity dissolution
- Improve our corporate recordkeeping
- Provide support for multiple additional projects, such as coordinating signatures, filings, and mailings, and maintaining our corporate calendar to ensure compliance with matters like state business registration requirements
- Work with cross functional teams in response to requests for information from our auditors and regulators
- Collaborate with and manage outside counsel
- Manage several time-sensitive projects at once, with eagerness to take on cutting-edge legal issues
You Have:
- 5+ years experience working as a corporate paralegal preferably at both a global public company and law firm.
- Excellent working knowledge of Google Workspace applications (Docs, Slides, Sheets) and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access)
- Proficiency in legal entity management
- Experience with Board meetings, communicating with directors, preparing board materials and working with board portals
- Experience in a global company with international legal entities
- Experience managing multiple cross-functional high priority projects simultaneously
- Able to develop strategies, manage timelines, and provide regular reporting
- Ideal candidate will be licensed as a notary

The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. All full-time employees are also eligible for equity compensation and for benefits as described on this page.
Roles that are based in our San Mateo, CA Headquarters are in-office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional in-office on Monday and Friday (unless otherwise noted).
