At Robinhood, our mission is to democratize finance for all. The Capital Markets team plays a critical role in supporting this vision by ensuring the company has the financial resources and market access needed to grow, innovate, and manage risk. As an Analyst in Capital Markets, you will work with the team to access, manage, and optimize funding channels for Robinhood. Reporting to our Director of Capital Markets, you will work cross-functionally with teams such as Treasury, Finance, Credit, Engineering, Data Science, Legal, and Compliance to support various capital market initiatives.

What you’ll do

  • Support Robinhood’s various capital market programs including but not limited to the unsecured and secured funding channels
  • Streamline day-to-day operating activities for all debt funding including periodic external and internal reporting, asset allocations, monitoring performance, compliance with covenants and other 3rd party requirements
  • Maintain relationships with current and prospective banking partners to support all capital market activities
  • Lead due diligence efforts for any new and existing funding programs
  • Perform in-depth modeling and analysis of the credit portfolio to identify risks and opportunities, ensuring funding strategies align with business’ growth objectives.
  • Support senior leadership in key corporate finance projects such as acquisitions, new product launches, industry and market research, structuring, regulatory compliance and risk management
  • Collaborate with data, credit and engineering teams to support the build of management systems to automate back-end processes for various capital market activities
  • Support quarterly forecast and annual planning process by collaborating with Finance & Strategy teams to provide updated assumptions on key drivers, including but not limited to funding costs and Net Interest Margin
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis using various data sources (internal and external) to inform pricing, hedging, deposit sweep allocations and other such decisions
  • Support all internal audit and SOX compliance activities

What you bring

  • 2-3 years of experience in capital markets, investment banking, corporate finance, or a related field
  • Knowledge of financial markets, debt and equity instruments, asset backed financing and risk management practices
  • Strong analytical and data mining skills with proficiency in Google suite, excel, other financial tools with intermediate experience in SQL preferred
  • Dynamic, agile, self-starter with an ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to work with teams across geographies
  • Experience in fintech, banking, or other regulated industries is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field

Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected salary range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to one of 3 compensation zones. This role is also eligible to participate in a Robinhood bonus plan and Robinhood’s equity plan. For other locations not listed, compensation can be discussed with your recruiter during the interview process.
