We’re seeking a Senior Analyst who brings deep technical and quantitative expertise to elevate our risk function. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of data science, technical capabilities, and risk management.

You will lead efforts to build scalable, data-driven risk monitoring frameworks, implement robust control automation, and deliver real-time insights that proactively surface emerging risks. This is a hands-on, high-visibility position with direct impact on brokerage operations.

The role is located in the office location(s) listed on this job description which will align with our in-office working environment. Please connect with your recruiter for more information regarding our in-office philosophy and expectations.

What you’ll do

Risk Evaluation & Control Testing

  • Conduct in-depth risk assessments across operational and technical domains, identifying vulnerabilities and evaluating control effectiveness.
  • Design and test manual and automated controls, especially where risks are time-sensitive or data-driven.
  • Build scripts and workflows in Python or SQL to simulate control logic and test outcomes under various scenarios.

Automated Risk Monitoring

  • Build and maintain robust automated control mechanisms to continuously monitor brokerage risks, reduce reliance on manual reviews, and strengthen operational resilience.
  • Develop early-warning systems and exception alerting logic tied to key risk indicators (KRIs), breach thresholds, or anomalies in real-time data feeds.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to deploy scripts, scheduled jobs, or event-based triggers that detect control failures or irregular patterns across systems.
  • Build resilient pipelines that feed risk dashboards with real-time or batch data for effective surveillance of trading activity, reconciliation breaks, and control health.
  • Regularly tune and optimize monitoring parameters using historical data and trend analysis to reduce false positives and improve signal quality.

Dashboards & Risk Reporting

  • Design and maintain dashboards using Supersets, Looker or other tools to visualize risk metrics, control test results, and emerging trends.
  • Transform raw risk data into intuitive, actionable reporting views for technical and non-technical audiences.

What you bring

  • Technical & Analytical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Python, SQL, and data analytics frameworks, with experience building control automation scripts, ETL pipelines, and scalable risk tooling from the ground up.
  • Broker Dealer Expertise: Solid understanding of broker-dealer operations, financial products, and regulatory requirements (e.g., FINRA, SEC, CFTC), paired with practical experience in quantitative risk modeling, control frameworks, and trading risk metrics.
  • Data Storytelling & Precision: Proven ability to develop intuitive dashboards and alerting systems (e.g., Looker, Tableau), with a detail-oriented approach to identifying anomalies, interpreting complex data, and driving risk-informed decisions.
