As Workplace Experience Partner ll you will keep the São Paulo Publishing Office and eSports Arena rolling and cultivate a space where all Rioters can thrive. You will be responsible for assisting the Americas Region Workplace Experience Manager in all aspects of local operations management and program management within the scope of workplace experience as well as being the primary point of contact for the São Paulo Publishing Office and eSports Arena.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the overall inner-workings of the Riot office and arena. Partner with stakeholders such as local Riot leadership, building management, WE team, and Physical Security to develop and enact programs that maximize workplace effectiveness. Ensure the established budget is maintained and work to hold vendors accountable within budgetary constraints.
  • Manage local vendor and/or supplier relationships to ensure WE contractors perform day-to-day responsibilities and continue to meet Riot standards. Coordinate with on-site physical security as needed.
  • Monitor for and oversee maintenance and repairs, closely aligning with local and WE leadership. Monitor and improve office and arena environments to adhere to WE standards.
  • Partner with local leadership to drive effective Workplace Experience programs and provide insight on workplace needs.
  • Welcome visitors and out-of-town Rioters to the office. Allocate and log visitor passes to the office and help out-of-town Rioters with temporary badge access. Support creation of any workplace experience-related processes for the eSports arena.
  • Support space planning and workplace moves by collaborating with Rioters to understand their needs and executing necessary changes. Ensure the workspace is optimized to enable teams to operate effectively and deliver high value to our players.  
  • Perform environmental health and safety (EHS) compliance activities and maintain and optimize office procedure documentation. 
  • Support local office events and large-scale initiatives, including esports tournaments and cultural celebrations that reflect Brazilian holidays and traditions. Responsibilities include event planning, communications, vendor coordination, and on-site support to drive employee engagement and a strong sense of belonging.  
  • Support regional operations, including recruiting coordination, employer branding and marketing initiatives, and managing travel logistics for local Rioters. This includes handling travel arrangements and collaborating with travel agencies to ensure smooth and cost-effective travel experiences.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience of providing facilities or maintenance service in a busy organization. 
  • Experience managing contractors and suppliers, including monitoring service standards and ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures. Strong negotiation skills are essential for vendor management and contract discussions.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Brazilian labor law (CLT), particularly in adapting workplace practices to remain compliant.
  • Events management expertise with the ability to deliver high-quality, compliant experiences.  
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to take initiative, function in a fast-paced working environment, with immediate and changing deadlines.
  • Ability to prioritize workload, with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management are a must.
  • Demonstrated strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.  Ability to interact comfortably and effectively with managers and employees at all levels within our company.
  • Fluency in English
  • Ability to operate independently and proactively with little or no supervision.
