As a Senior Insights Analyst, you will report to the Sr. Manager of People Analytics & Insights. You will support the People Analytics & Insights team, business leaders, operations leaders, executives, and HR business partners across Riot with creating data summaries and visuals, packaging people data for leaders, uncovering valuable insights from the data, and telling stories with people data that help inform talent strategies.

- Experience with drawing out insights from the data by combining business context, trends, external benchmarks, and multiple internal data sources (HRIS, survey data, etc.) to make compelling recommendations and guide talent strategies at the senior leadership level
- Work with a high level of autonomy to summarize, organize, and analyze People data (survey data, hiring metrics, turnover metrics, D&I data, etc.) from multiple sources to represent trends, patterns, and insights; summarize the findings in a clear and concise manner
- Have a “total ownership approach” to packaging People Data and tailoring it to the specific needs of HR business partners, senior operations leaders, business unit leaders, and senior executives; ensuring the data is accurate, relevant, and easily digestible
- Own the preparation of quarterly and year-end reports by gathering, analyzing, and interpreting HR metrics and key performance indicators
- Collaborate with HR business partners and operations leaders to deliver comprehensive and actionable insights
- Proactively and independently identify opportunities to streamline processes, gather additional data needs, improve data analysis techniques, and enhance reporting methodologies
- Create visually appealing, informative, and presentation-ready data decks using Google Slides
- Own ad hoc People data summaries and analytics for business units and senior leaders as needed
- Assist with creation and management of team health and employee engagement surveys as needed
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field such as industrial organizational psychology, human resources management, psychology, statistics, or business analytics is required
- 5+ years of experience engaging directly with business leaders and senior-level stakeholders with minimal oversight to recommend actions, advise on strategy, and drive impact using people data
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in an HR analytics or People Data analysis capacity
- 7+ years experience with creating visually appealing data presentations using Google Slides, PowerPoint, or similar tools
- 5+ years experience packaging and presenting data, insights, and analytics findings to senior leaders and HRBPs
- 7+ years experience with Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or other data analysis tools and analytics methods including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, descriptive statistic, and creating graphs
- Experience presenting data and analyses to non-technical audiences, senior leaders, and subject matter experts
- Ability to apply industry best practices to analysis, predictions, and measurement
- An independent owner, able to work in high complexity and ambiguity
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, ensuring a high standard of quality and integrity with data analysis and reporting
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, working towards common goals and deadlines
- Flexibility to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive and solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and implement improvements
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s or PhD in a related field such as industrial organizational psychology, human resources management, psychology, statistics, or business analytics
- Basic experience with survey tools like Glint, Qualtrics, Google Forms, etc.
