Principal Game Producer - League of Legends, Seasons Program

As a Principal Game Producer on the Seasons Mission in the Game Swimlane Program, you will report to the Seasons Production Lead. You will be accountable for driving entire Seasonal projects from Inception to a successful launch. You will be building and maintaining work systems, managing schedules and driving delivery on the seasonal experience. You will also be coordinating cross-team, cross-mission collaboration and providing visibility to various layers of stakeholders. You will ensure the end-to-end in game Seasonal experience is a holistic, entertaining player journey.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop sustainable production work systems to ensure work is on track and plugs into ecosystem program-level systems such as Creative Reviews and Thematic development
  • Inherit seasonal thematic vision and shepherd teams toward creating connected experiences worthy of players’ time, spend and advocacy every Season
  • Provide accurate visibility on the status and health of the production pipeline within the game swimlane program and highlight shortfalls or risks, and other forms of escalation with stakeholders
  • Drive cohesion across all ecosystem teams and stakeholders contributing to the development of the Seasonal experience to ensure a textured player experience
  • Collaborate with Seasons Ecosystem Program partners and our international Co-Dev partners on production planning to ensure priorities are clear and hold teams accountable to deliver scheduled commitments
  • Ensure post-ship analysis of each Seasonal release by working with our partners from Insights and Game Product Management to improve our targets season over season, year over year

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of working in game development, with experience in the full game development life cycle using a variety of development methodologies (Scrum, Lean, Waterfall, etc) 
  • Systems-based thinking, with a willingness to invest time to understand root cause analysis
  • Experience problem solving through work system creation for matrixed organizations
  • Strong negotiation skills, with a mix of patience and goal orientation to navigate complex cultural, technology and product requirements
  • Ability to manage change across teams, organizations and cultures
