Brand Manager

As a Brand Manager for League of Legends, you will lead global publishing Esports campaigns that shape the perception of one of the most iconic franchises in gaming. Your work will impact the League of Legends ecosystem across Esports and Game, bringing our global audience closer to the magic of competitive play and storytelling.

You will serve as a strategic partner across creative, production, events, communications, broadcast, community, and regional publishing to lead the planning and execution of industry-defining campaigns that drive deep fandom and deliver measurable impact. In this role, you'll own one or more streams of work, delivering marketing initiatives that connect players to the brand across every touchpoint.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead campaign strategy in partnership with game development and esports leadership
  • Lead the creation of high quality creative content and campaigns by partnering with the marketing creative, production, and community teams
  • Enforce brand DNA & guidelines to ensure League of Legends marketing matches the brand's overall strategy and long-term vision.
  • Partner with the communications and social teams to provide evergreen content programs that drive the brand vision and business goals
  • Partner with insights on research programs, providing analysis that guides global publishing planning
  • Be the point person between our global teams and regional teams to ensure strong, global alignment around the brand tentpole moments
  • Manage brand marketing budgets for owned campaigns partnering with production to deliver projects on time and on budget

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in brand management, product marketing or equivalent agency roles.
  • Experience working with gaming audiences or in the games industry
  • Proven experience leading integrated marketing campaigns from strategy through execution and performance measurement.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with a track record of successful international team partnerships.
  • Demonstrated success working with agencies and creative partners to produce high-impact campaigns
  • Experience translating audience insights into actionable creative briefs and brand strategy

Desired Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Riot Games' IP and audiences
  • Prior experience working with live-service games
  • Deep understanding of the esports ecosystem, as a marketer or hardcore fan
  • Preferred candidates will play games on a weekly basis on console, mobile and/or PC
