The EE/Software Reliability Engineer III is Responsible for overall evaluation and improvement of product reliability, through collecting and analyzing failure data, recommending design and or process improvement, support MTBF modeling activities, interfacing and supporting product development engineering for EE and software development tasks.

This position will serve our Water/Air Divisions, located in Montgomery, AL or Atlanta, GA.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Perform reliability qualification or re-qualification tests for EE/Software system.
  • Support Failure Modes Effects Analysis (FMEA) initiatives for EE/Software Systems
  • Develop and generate product and component reliability and warranty prediction models, including testing and reporting methods using Weibull analysis.
  • Perform deep dive analysis of test, warranty and CX data based on Alarms and Alerts for root cause analysis.
  • Interface with EOLT hardware and software team for early development of the tests
  • Facilitate team meetings and serve on multiple functional teams
  • Other assigned duties.


Qualifications:

WHAT YOU NEED
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer and Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum 5-years of reliability engineering experience
  • Intermediate computers skills (Microsoft Word, & Excel)
  • Experience in developing test plans and schedules
  • Experience or knowledge in FMEA initiatives
  • Experience in developing and generating product and component reliability prediction models using Weibull
  • Experience in developing and generating testing plans and reporting methods
  • Experience in facilitating team meetings and serving on multifunctional teams
  • Experience with data analytics
  • Working knowledge of python, C++, Visual Basics, MySQL, JavaScript
  • Experience in recommending and implementing design improvements in.
  • Strong organizational, problem solving, resources management and time management skills
  • Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems
  • No Travel Restrictions
  • Demonstrated ability to work well with others in a team environment

HOW TO STAND OUT
  • Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or CS
  • Working knowledge of UL and CSA water heater standards
  • Working knowledge of Six Sigma statistical tools and techniques
  • Working knowledge of ML/AI and NLP
  • Working knowledge of Grafana, Power BI, Tableau, Jupyter Notebooks, VMware, Docker, Kubernetes, MATLAB, Kafka
