The Delivery Manager is a strategic technology leader responsible for overseeing the technology portfolio's delivery, from establishing long-term strategies to optimizing processes and managing risks. This includes forecasting resource needs and conducting capacity planning to ensure the team has the necessary skills and bandwidth to meet business demands. This role requires exceptional leadership skills to guide matrixed teams and foster strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring all initiatives align with business goals. The delivery manager will be transparent and influential, indirectly leading the development teams and having autonomy to make decisions within their scope, with input from their colleagues and stakeholders, and with feedback from their manager. The ideal candidate will be a results-driven, adaptable, and innovative leader who can navigate organizational complexities, drive continuous improvement and ultimately contribute to the company's growth and success.

- Assist the portfolio manager in establishing and evolving the long-term delivery strategy for the Steritech technology portfolio leading the IT Portfolio team through influence.
- Continuously identify and implement process improvements and best practices to optimize efficiency, cost, and quality across all technology initiatives.
- Set comprehensive program management standards, metrics, and governance.
- Prioritize and ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information and systems security in all aspects of work, influencing secure design and implementation practices.
Ensuring Portfolio Oversight & Risk Mitigation:
- Provide overarching oversight for all technology projects and platform enhancements, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, adherence to established standards, and effective management of scope, budget, and resources.
- Proactively identify and mitigate portfolio-level risks and issues, utilizing data-driven insights to inform decision-making and course correction.
Leading & Enabling High-Performing Delivery Teams:
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement by providing leadership, mentorship, and support to matrixed project and development teams (internal and external).
- Remove systemic barriers, facilitate effective cross-functional communication, and serve as a key escalation point for complex delivery challenges.
Cultivating Key Stakeholder & Partner Relationships:
- Serve as a strategic liaison, building and maintaining strong relationships with business partners, IT partners, and external vendors.
- Ensure robust alignment on requirements, financial reporting, and seamless delivery of technology solutions that meet organizational goals.
Candidate Requirements
Education
- Bachelor's degree in related field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, System Engineering, Data Science, Operations Management OR equivalent years of experience.
Experience
- 6+years prior experience in roles such as Project Manager, Program Manager, Scrum Master, Data Analyst, Digital Product Analyst, Operational Excellence, Delivery Manager or Sr. Business Analyst within a multi-functional team.
- 2+ years in leading and delivering complex projects and engaging with colleagues at all levels, with a strong emphasis on managing up to Sr level and executive leadership.
- Expert understanding of the Software Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile and other project management methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall, etc) and cloud productivity tools in use (Jira, Smartsheets, etc.).
- History of successful outcomes managing multiple concurrent demands, using data to inform decision-making.
- Ability to effectively convey complex ideas to various stakeholders at all levels, using data to make decisions in an autonomous nature.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex problems, evaluate multiple solutions, and make data-driven decisions.
- Proven track record of using logical and rational analysis to solve business challenges and improve processes.
- Experience navigating and leading teams through ambiguity and shifting priorities.
- Successfully managed projects in dynamic environments, showcasing flexibility and a proactive approach to change.
- Experience leading strategic planning by offering a forward-thinking perspective and innovative ideas.
- Proven experience driving organizational growth through effective planning and execution.
