What do our Bed Bug Technicians do?
The primary purpose of this role is learning to deliver timely, safe, and effective pest control services for each established and new residential or commercial customer. This includes completing regular inspections to ensure continued service effectiveness and to communicate effectively with customers before and after services are performed to advise them of findings and recommendations.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Learn to deliver timely, safe, and effective pest control service for each established and new customer.
- Demonstrate ability to advise customers of service work completed, summarize concerning conditions, relate recommended solutions/benefits, gain commitment, and collaborate with other team members on needed follow-ups
- Demonstrate ability to maintain safe and clean vehicle/equipment, and ensure sufficient quantities of product to meet service needs
- Demonstrate ability to maintain proactive schedule management, partnering with management and branch support center as needed for any scheduling interventions
- Satisfactorily complete initial technical training and participate in regular update training to stay current with proven methods and practices
- Complete training, certifications, & licensing
Essential Job Functions:
- Ability to follow instructions for mixing on product labels
- Solid reading, writing, and verbal communication skills and the ability to present information in both internal and external settings
- Basic math skills - add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure - using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Move up to 50 pounds by lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or otherwise repositioning objects
- Maintain balance when walking, standing, or crouching on narrow, slippery, or erratically moving surfaces
- Push objects forward, downward, or outward with sustained force using the upper extremities to press with steady force and drag, draw, haul, or tug objects
- Able to work both inside and outside in your local climate in company-provided weather
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), like an OSHA-compliant respirator
- Safely operate a motor vehicle and make sure it and all other equipment is kept clean
- Flexibility with working hours, including some evening and weekend work, a rotating on-call schedule, and extended (50-60 hours/wk) schedule during peak season
- Travel up to 100% of time within assigned territory(s)
What do you need?
- Clean or closely shaven face - for safety reasons (respirators have to be able to seal your face)
- High school diploma or GED; related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Successfully meet pre-employment background screen
- Possess a valid driver's license and undergo motor vehicle driving record check (Company vehicle and gas card provided)
- Available to work Monday-Friday and Saturdays as needed

- Licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and/or local regulations (covered by us)
- Customer-facing experience preferred
