Rapid7's Global Growth Enablement team is looking to scale by adding a front-line manager to support, develop, and augment our highly talented team of enablement professionals. This is an opportunity to lead a team of enablement professionals while also contributing directly to the creation and execution of global programs. About the Team

Our Growth Enablement team is responsible for the development and ongoing management of domain-relevant enablement focused on Rapid7 strategies, industry knowledge, and key competencies from the new hire experience to ongoing efforts to ensure our go-to customer teams and partners are set up for long-term success across the full customer lifecycle.

The Role

The Manager, Go To Customer Enablement will report to the Vice President of Strategy and Effectiveness and will have direct managerial responsibility for six employees, focusing on new hire training, sales, customer success, and technical enablement programs globally. If you are an energetic, innovative, data-driven enablement specialist with managerial experience and a passion for developing people, this could be a great match!

In this role you will:

  • Oversee and contribute directly to the global individual contributor and leadership enablement execution across our core focus areas - New Hire Onboarding, Sales, Customer Success, and Technical - while directly managing team members responsible for executing these functions
  • Hire, manage, and coach world-class enablement professionals.
  • Manage enablement governance: you provide the structure and process for making strategic decisions in close collaboration with the enablement program manager and leadership input
  • Collaborate with Go To Customer leadership to develop and deliver an annual and quarterly curriculum for our GTC teams that incorporate key competencies by role across systems, processes, methodology, product, competition, market and Ecosystem
  • Gather input on ways to improve our enablement services, structure, and resources and implement changes to improve continuously
  • Be highly data-driven, measuring leading and lagging ROI indicators of enablement program impact and reporting on engagement in correlation to performance and achievement
  • Roll out and drive utilization of innovative learning tools, evolving sales techniques and learning development approaches to upskill talent continuously
  • Open to a hybrid working model, 3 days a week in our Boston office

Desired Skills and Experience

  • 6+ years experience in sales enablement or a highly related field
  • 2+ years of direct management experience leading a team of 4+ people
  • Strong understanding of the go-to-market process from opportunity identification through to close, renewal, and expansion.
  • Past experience creating Sales and Customer Success Enablement Strategies for teams in the 200-500-person range
  • Excel at data-driven visual storytelling using delivery tools such as Google Slide Presentations
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to track and measure the effectiveness of enablement programs
  • Ability to work effectively on global and virtual teams and accommodate time differences
  • Experience working in cybersecurity is preferred but not required; knowledge of the personas working in the cybersecurity community
  • Work in a fast-paced, rewarding environment with tight deadlines and minimal supervision that demands high quality, creativity, and consistency
  • Experience with Gong and Highspot a plus
  • BS or MA degree in enablement related field a plus
